Old school shooters had cheat codes, too.
This is not a top ten list. It's some Guy rambling about his favorite superhero games. How did he get a job writing?
Flooded with rock band stuff.
Does the Xbox dash advertise add-ons for games that you actually have? If it doesn't that would be a nice addition. It would have to know what games to advertise, either by your achievements or what's installed on the hdd.
If it does then my comment is irrelevant.
KTop five reasons the new dashboard sucks.
5. More advertising than the super bowl.
4. No option to wash my clothes
3. I didn't have to pay for it. Free stuff always sucks. You get what you pay for.
2. I don't know. Just some other random nitpicky reason.
1. It's on the Xbox. And everything on the Xbox is awful.
Just in case you can't tell. That was a lazy attempt at satire of all the stupid fanboy comments that tend to ...
Halo was #7. Uhhh yeah I don't really know that for sure.
I do know that a top five list, by definition, can only hold five games. As good as Halo might be (never played it myself so I don't know) the authors of this article felt it wasn't as good as the games that made the list.
Opinions aren't objective facts. If you don't like this list, make your own. It's not that hard.
With this comment, you're either expressing your pinion of the Assassin's Creed franchise, or your perception of what science fiction is.
If it's the former, then you're not really keen on Assassin's Creed. That's fine, I'm not keen on spots games. We all have our opinions. Yours is no more or less valid than mine.
If it's the latter, then you're basing your comment on a flawed assumption of what science fiction really is. It's not alway...
jailbreaking an iPhone - now it's not exclusive to one carrier.
Jailbreaking a game console - now you can "backup" your games.
No difference? Here's a thought. Why don't you take all the money that jailbreaking a ps3 will cost, go buy a Dev kit, and make fully legit homebrews? Or do you have something else in mind?
Really? Are you sure? It's the 7th. The month is still young.
That's what I was wondering. See #7.
Oh oh oh oh... here's a thought.
Maybe some of these CoD fans aren't so much CoDaholics as they are fans of military FPSs. So they're not abandoning CoD in favor of battlefield. Maybe, just MAYBE, they're switching back and forth. Right now they're playing CoD, later they'll play Battlefield, then they might play MoH for awhile.
Some of us own more than one game.
I don't care for FPS games myself. The fight between Activision and EA has s...
Why do I get the feeling that the first draft of this story was written in crayon? Is this the best that Examiner can come up with? You would think a "journalist" would at least know how to spell.
If the author of this sad excuse for a story is reading this: can you at least have enough respect for your readers to get your spelling right?
On topic: I think we can do just a little more about this than complain on N4G. I don't trust used games enough to ...
Windows 7 still has code from windows 3.1. Xmb4.0 is still using code from xmb1.5. Mw3 is still... no that's too obvious. The point is, old code is still present in new versions... everywhere.
I do know that the first person to mention Hitler automatically loses.
Aww.... cazzo!
Or CAUTION: HIGHLY FLAMMABLE on a bottle of lighter fluid. Yeah duhh that's why I'm buying the stuff.
And that's why I think there should be at least 4 GOTY awards.
1. Ps3 exclusive
2. 360 exclusive
3. Wii exclusive
4. PC exclusive
5. Multiplatform
We could throw in social, casual, handheld, but you get the idea.
OK lets learn the difference between plural and possessive, shall we.
Plural denotes more than one. When writing words in plural form, an apostrophe is not included. Some examples: costs, Alps, consumers.
Possessive denotes ownership or belonging. With the exception of the pronoun "it," possessives do require apostrophes. Some examples: store's customers, John's fishing net, Grandma's car.
I suggest everyone follow these two rules on the groun...
You want phone calls and cross game chat? You do realize they're functionally identical, right?
Better logic next time.
If Activision didn't release CoD in 2012, then in 2013, when the new CoD is announced, there would be an outbreak of hyperacute cephalysis among the CoDaholics
I was being serious. It really is a fair review. At least, as far as I can tell.
Even the biggest CoDaholic will get bored with the Multiplayer, and play RuneScape until the next map pack is released. Then, after the last map pack, they get bored and play RuneScape until the next CoD is released.
Further. With multiple races, classes, and choices. A game like Skyrim can be played over and over and over. It's never the same game twice.
What were you saying about replayability?
"Unlimited to a certain degree?"...
