2009 is the year in which they'll totally stop production. However, more and more people are favoring HDTV over SDTV now. All I'm saying is the transition is slowly occurring.
If you guys don't know, the television industry is slowly trying to phase out standard definition TV's in favor of HDTV's. DVD's are still present but expect the 98% to gradually fall because of the two formats.
Sacrificed quality hardware in order to be first in the market. M$ banked on the idea that since their the only next gen console, people will buy additional 360 consoles because it is next gen.
360=BAD hardware.....good software
PS3=GOOD hardware.....lack of software....for now
What part of the startup sequence is the dashboard?
I think that was M$ motivation after Viva Pinata peformed below expectations.
The PS3 obviously selling is good news.
But the fact that everyone is saying the Korea is a PC-gaming country and still selling says more.
What do you guys think?

OK you're right if they ship only 3000 a week to Japan they'll be sold out.
Something tells me M$ ships more than that.

for this game and the title of the article was something like PS3 saying 'pah' to bland colors. Obviously refering to reviewers and others saying PS3 games have bland colors in thier games. I tried to post it here but it wouldn't let me. If someone can, it would be complete ownage. Funny noone is saying bland and PS3 anymore.

In my estimation, the best thing to do is make the downloadable version available at a affordable price. Then when the disc is available(I think with a single player addition), make it the regular price. Is that the current plan?

Why did games switch from cartriges to CD's to DVD's?
With all the compression techniques, games will always stay under the 9 GB limit?
So future games 1, 2, 3 years down the line will never evolve. They will always remain at that 9 GB plateau.
No doubt it would sell as is. Still it would benefit Sony and the consumer if it had the new SIXAXIS with tilt AND rumble.
