Explain to me how Sony gave up on gaming on the day M$ had their press conference? Explain to me how they gave up when their conference is scheduled for tomorrow. Oh they lost FF exclusivity. However, if you were to do a little more groundwork, you would realized that there will not be a 360 version in Japan but there will be a PS3 version in Japan, Europe,AND the US. Now that says that 360's don't sell squat in Japan(see Blue Dragon). In addition PS3 sell no matter what territory.
Sony consoles............like PaRappa the Rapper or Katamaari Damacy or Okami or............wait a minute. They did sell well.

I'd like you to please specifically name where(besides the US and thats even hardly the case) that the 360 is beating the PS3. Remember the number 10 million M$ made a big deal out of last year? Well the PS3 reached that number four months earlier.
That is not to say that it wasn't a huge risk for Sony.
Now that Blu is the clear-cut winner(or will be shortly) now does this show legitimacy for the format in the movie/hi-def industry but it also shows that Blu is a legitimate medium to put games on.
In my opinion, M$ only option is to go Blu in the future. Games will only get bigger in scale from now on(Lost Odyssey is four discs).
