at your local game store, it showcases Natal/Wave and what it can do. Communicating with friends, playing games, etc. All without a controller.
In the case of a driving game, driving without a steering wheel, who wants that? If the whole purpose of next gen games is to make you feel more "immersed," I would think you would want a controller or steering wheel.

I doubt Wave can detect the twist of your wrist as well as Natal can. I kid, I kid.

In the case of Life with Playstation I would hope it can be used on other consoles. However using Life would necessitate leaving one's console for periods of time.

The reason for the shortage,I assume is to rid rid of the slims with the older chips and get the PS3's with the newer chips out there. E3 is coming............hmmmmmmmm.
