@torchic: The fact that the Wii U is built in Japan doesn't matter when the exchange rate between the Yen and Dollar/Euro is so out of whack.
It's not just the cost of the components but boring stuff like exchange rates too. The Yen is so much stronger than the dollar and euro that it is costing Nintendo money to sell stuff overseas.
I started reading it yesterday and got about a quarter of the way through. No spoilers but it truly is serving as a setup to Halo 4.
You'll typically receive a game 3-5 days after release with their free shipping option. If you're out in the boonies somewhere, it could be 7.
If Newegg happens to run a $15 pre-order discount on one of these titles prior to launch, you will not get that automatically. Newegg's game deals are typically 48-hour to 72-hour limited affairs.
@Pandamobile: It's all my kids and their friends talk about. About 3/4 of my son's soccer team has Minecraft for the Xbox 360.
Ahh whoops. Thought I selected Image for this one just like I did with the other two Halo 4 render posts I put up. Mods, change if you can please.
How can a warehouse fire affect supplies of a product that won't even be out for another two months?
Yeah, the heavy in particular looks pretty badass.
GameStop management is probably saying, "What the heck are we going to do with all those Wiis that will get traded in?"
Yep, the more I see of them the more they grow on me.
Because they couldn't get XP and enchanting in, it sounds like 4J is planning a patch to bridge between 1.8.3 (the last PC beta patch) and 1.2.3 to get additional features out quicker. I'd expect enchanting to be among those.
Sure, you got any other year old games where all the major plot points have already been divulged repeatedly?
It's a year old game. Dom's death has been mentioned so many times since that this hardly qualifies as a spoiler at this point.
Nope. The Gamecube controller is not backwards-compatibl
Nope. The Gamecube controller is not backwards-compatible and neither are the games. At least not the disks. We'll probably see the games on the eShop.
@LevelHead: Current value is a factor too but you the likelihood of being traded-in is just as big a factor.
Yeah, that's why the Wii is at the lowest price, it will be the most commonly traded in system by far. PS3 is the least likely so it gets the highest price.
It's already out in the USA. Shows up as 1.6.

Amazon won't charge you until the game releases.
