They never appeared on the Xbox 360 or Xbox so they were a no go. Agree that it would be nice to have a new Killer Instinct game though. But I'm not sure if Rare in its current incarnation would be able to pull it off.
I would expect a subsidized Xbox 720 to be an option for buyers. Not the only option.
MS would likely release the 720 at $400 or so and sell a subsidized version at like $200 or $250 as an example.
While you may not like the idea of cell-phone model for game consoles, it's just an extra option that is available that you don't have to participate in if you don't want to.
Unfortunately, they've already confirmed no dual wielding.
They just added the IGN app to Xbox LIVE. I wonder how much that had to do with the decision to cut Inside Xbox.
RedLynx called, it wants its Trials game back.
Your credit card will get charged a termination fee.
@tentonsofttube: Probably not. No real reason to this late in the console lifecycle. Just build off what you have already.
Nothing mentioned about the engine unfortunately. I really wouldn't expect anything like that in a video. Activision/Treyarch/IW have always talked about that stuff in interviews and the like.
For $3, it isn't bad.
Actually, Halo community players were at the same event.

You are correct. Fixed.
If you dig through the Forbes article links, you eventually find this.

"The Athletic Association is donating (as has become custom) $6 million to the University to help out the budget crunch. That means that since 1990, the Athletic Association has given the University $60 million."
Before anyone gets up in arms over this, realize that the school budget and the athletic dept budget are two separate entities. The athletic department is completely self-sufficient and takes nothing away from the school. In fact, the athletic dept has donated 6 million a year for the past three years to university.
Also, the school denies it is cutting funding.

It wasn't great but it was still a pretty good game. Looking forward to seeing how High Moon can improve things with Fall of Cybertron.
The complaints about being able to join matches in progress is funny to me because one of the common complaints I heard about Reach was not being able to join matches in progress.
Just goes to show that you can't please everyone.
Well, it's more of a third-party action game with Tower Defense elements. But yeah, it definitely had a better run on Steam where the price was dropped frequently than on the Xbox 360 where I can think it went on sale maybe once or twice.
Check again, the prices have all changed. Amazon doesn't always have them updated immediately.
Ehhh, maybe to a point. The Oscars have gotten to be very dull and self-serving. It's fine to liven things up but I agree that the Spike TV VGA direction is not the right way.
The only other Xbox 360 exclusive South Park title is Let's Go Tower Defense Play which is a fun but not spectacular spin on the Tower Defense genre.
The upcoming South Park: The Game from Obsidian and THQ is multi-platform.
All the previous South Park games were definitely garbage but were made by licensing out the show. South Park Digital Studios was formed in response and is responsible for Let's Go Tower Defense Play and Tenorman's Revenge.
Don't know if this is actually news. The interview is from 2011.
Translation of YouTube video linked in NeoGAF thread: "Interview with Michel Ancel and Christophe Heral conducted Sunday, *November 27, 2011* at the latest Toulouse Game Show."
Not to mention that Ancel previously told Joystiq that BG&E2 would require next-gen horsepower.
