Restricted to Windows 8 though.

The Vita has 512MB of Ram and 128MB of VRAM so it should be able to perform the equivalent of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

The Pocket Edition is "junk" because of memory limitations on smartphones and tablets. Even the console version is limited when compared to the PC because of memory though. However, PS4 and Xbox One shouldn't have that problem.

Unfortunatey, that doesn't appear to be the way it works. The text from Best Buy is slightly confusing but I read it as purchasing the 12GB PS3 and The Last of Us together will come with a copy of Uncharted 3: GOTY for free.

So, that likely makes the bundle $240 to $260 depending on the price of The Last of Us on Sunday.

No, they aren't digital versions of the game.

NPD doesn't track digital sales.

It's legit. I got the same email.

Don't know if a sales rep is a reliable source...

You'd be surprised...

Yep. It's doubtful that the OS for the PS4 is locked down either.

In reality, I wouldn't be surprised if both the PS4 and Xbox One receive significant downloadable updates at launch.

@JBSleek: Heh. Compared to what I was paying for games back in the days of the SNES and before...yes, average wages have adjusted.

If you are only comparing the last six years or so, no they have not.

True, but games would also be much more expensive now if they followed inflation.

Unbelievable. Australia constantly ban games for content but they are going to allow a game that literally explodes when taken into stores.

@sunnygrg: The article clearly states the price was "cut up to" $25. Meaning all amounts leading up to $25 which includes $20 as well.

Only so much info can be fit in a headline before it becomes unwieldly. The body of the article more than explains the price difference as well as the fact that Amazon is probably the preferred source if you want to order it online due to tax and shipping while Toys R Us is the best candidate if you don't mind running over to th...

"Slashed up to $25" means that the price was cut/dropped/marked down by up to $25. Not that the price is now $25.

In other words $59.99 - $25.

It depends on what they present at Gamescom IMHO. They are going to have to provide the full details on what indie developers will have access to, revenue split, etc. That will be the first step in repairing the damaged relations with indies.

You can get the maps alone for $6 if you aren't interested in the weapon and armor skins. If your interested in the skins but not the maps, that's $3. The armor pack is another $3.

@Alethian: I'm pretty sure MS will do whatever it can to ensure that there's never a PS4 version of Minecraft.

4593d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Nope, they will continue to update Minecraft on the Xbox 360 even through the release of the Xbox One Edition.
