Warhawk destroys cod4 online MP with its open gameplay, large maps and use of vehicles(warhawk, dropship, carrier, tank, jeep, rocket pack)
It's just a pity Warhawk didnt have CoD4-like weapons, graphics, warzone settings and SP. Much maligned game.
Infantry only games usually have confined, restrictive gameplay and encourages camping.
Bigger is always better. Bring on Warhawk 2, BF:BC2, OFP2, MAG(limited us) and vehicle warfare perse.

Therein lies the problem for this generation.
A 10 year life cycle works if you dominate the market with little or no competition. But this is not the case with this generation.
A 10 year life cycle means future proof technology(bluray not motion control) and subsequently adds to the cost of the console. This gave M$ a chance to establish itself with the cheaper 360 and of course, the Wii rocketed away with it's price, controller and gameplay.

The moment the xbox entered gaming, Sony should have realize M$ was ultimately intending to MONOPOLIZED game consoles as the have monopolized Operating Systems on PC. M$ needed to be dealt a lethal blow so that they'd leave for good.

Having awesome graphics won't make KZ2 a GOTY game plus has too many short comings in SP/MP.
Although not as good looking as KZ2 but still visually impressive, UC2 has better controls(not laggy), characters, dialogue & storyline, level design, and fun solid MP.
UC2 will be GOTY because it's got everything so right from the very start - no need for constant updates like KZ2 has and still needs. It's virtually faultless.

Instead, Sony kept the price high and focused on getting a slim-mer Ps3 out.
