N4g doesn't need a makeover as it's simple layout and design serves its purpose well.

As for how things are done, yes ng4 does need to make improvements:

* one bubble/comment for all - max - and extend edit time to 24 hours.
* word limit on comments that counts down as you type - youtube style.
* greater moderation on comments and troll article submissions.
* have a extensive ranking/achievements system for members - the lowest rank being a "...

....only because it's the first MGS i've seen where the characters actually ran at normal/natural looking pace - the animation just seems a little more realistic.

No but maybe had they simply bought the licence for the Sixsence TrueMotion.

This controller does everything that Sony's research controller does...but did it a year ago.

http://sixense.com/

Open your eyes Sony as the solution might be right in front of your face. Sheez. And send out more scouts to various HW & SW Conventions for new technology and games to buy/use. MS did this at a Mac Convention and...

...really caught my eye in the trailer.

Nascar is synonymous with crashes. HD damage at 1080p and 60 FPS - hell yeah.

Even if they softened down the damage for the production cars to appease manufacturers GT5 will rule supreme.

I remember all the hype for Forza 2 and screen shots and comparisons to GT5. The game was released and is a great game but didn't quite match the hype. And then GT5 Prologue was released....and then quiet...except for fanboys saying it's not a full game and shouldn't have to pay for a demo and rail gameplay and no damage.

Stop comparing Forza 3 to GT5. It will likely be an excellent game but we are talking about GT5 here. It will be alot better than the excellent Prologue.

Windows has dominated the PC Operating systems for the past twenty years.

Web cams and all other hardware innovations and developments for the PC had to operate through Windows...unless you were into Macs of course.

Had Apple Inc been the DOMINANT operating system for PC for the last twenty years, guess who would have been THE FIRST.

Go figure genius.

Project Natal is awesome but I view it more as an accessory not a controller replacement.

Of the two controllers, Natal clearly won the day with its voice and face recognition and full body 3d motion sensing.

However, the Ps3 could easily do most if not everything natal does. Sony has chosen to take a more traditional approach to evolving controllers with impressive results. But sixence Truemotion achieve all of this a year ago:

.... does all of this. The controller even looks amazing.

Why the frack didn't Sony simply negotiate with the sixense developers to use and rebrand their remote as the new play-mote? They they could have announced the pla...

Apart from the awesome graphics, what will Crysis2 bring to this genre on consoles?

Like we will be getting BF:BC2, MW2, MAG, OFP2, Arma2 etc

Crysis2 will likely be the best looking multiplat game but will it deliver on gameplay to take us away from what we have already?

Me thinks alot of interest in this game has more to do with getting Crysis PC graphics on the consoles which aint going to happen.

But the really good news about this is tha...

If you have not Psp or previous games and don't mind exclusive DD then the PsPGo would be a better choice so long as its not too far off the special deal price.

Otherwise just take the special deal.

Metal Gear and GT are on the Ps2...

...and...

the PsP is at its core a portable Ps2.

No brainer here folks

But frack, have you seen the specs of the iTouch? Wow. Sony better be working on a high spec PSP2 as ps2 gaming is slowing starting to show its age/limitations.

If you have UMD games/videos then you have a PsP. Use it damn it. You don't have to buy the PsPGo.

The PsPGo is for those who want PsP gaming/movies/music from purely digital downloads. Sony will still be making the PsP 3000. Watch the promovideo from Qore.

Sheez. Get your heads out of the sand and get with the programme. Freedom of choice. UMD PsP or DD PsP. Your pick.

Sheez. Pretty obvious. If you have PSP games then you have a PSP.

You sound like the BC whingers for the Ps3. If you have a library of Ps2 games then you have a Ps2.

Use your Psp 3000 if you want to play you UMD games.

The Promo video said the PSPGo is not a replacement - both will be supplied. However, if you like having UMD copies then buy the PsP while PSPGo is for those on the Go! and have no problem with exclusively downloadable content.

...by making it a flip top like the DS and giving it a square form(a little bigger than the screen) like the iphone.

damn, the iphone/itouch is a cutie and alot more powerful than the psp. why oh why aren't you developing a portable gaming console, Apple Inc?

Competition is good.

After viewing the awesome gameplay trailer to U2 online MP, you cant help but see the similarities with Gears - 3rd person, cover system, great graphics, combat. Sheez, if everyone buffered up, put on some heavy armor and a bandana then....

So why get upset with any comparisons?

By what I've seen, UC2 MP will have solid fun gameplay and worth a day one buy.

But if there is any game U2 MP needs to be compared to, that would have to be the king of online ...

That would blow E3's roof off.

The Ps3 needs a huge price drop - which may be possible with a stripped down "slim" ps3 with new suppliers and cheaper manufacturing costs.

And Sony needs to finally introduce a truly next gen controller - the playmote - to carry the ps3 for the rest of its life cycle and into the Ps4. The current controller has served us well for the ps1-3 but the future is the playmote allowing greater interaction and likely to allow lightn...

My list of improvements were for WH2 not Starhawk.

By going FPS and adding classes etc won't make WH like the others. I am a diehard WH fan with reasonable abilities and the rank of Cmd Marshal. Many times as I'm playing, I've wanted to be more involved with the game by being in First Person as well as being able to sprint and roll in combat. Did someone say Zipper switch from TPS to FPS for more involved gameplay?

After playing alot of Killzone 2, I now want vehi...

At least half the players on most WH games stick to ground work/battle.

It can be frustrating if you need air cover but they can be invaluable offensive/defensively and add to the enjoyment of the game.

Starhawk will likely be a new ip which copies alot from WH but but will ultimately be different game - not a sequel.

6084d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Starhawk should be just a new IP that mimics alot of Warhawk but also has its unique features.

Warhawk deserves a proper sequel and improvements such as going fps, have a sprint & roll function & have bots with wicked good AI.

At present, Warhawk MP is as good if not better than Halo, BF:BC or CoD4 but has obvious shortcomings.

whomever needs to tweak Warhawk to become the best MP online game out there because it's so close already.

Although still expensive the Ps3 is still doing respectable sales but it's now time to put the nail in the coffin for the competition:

* huge price drop
* introduce the play-mote as the new controller - not an accessory

These will significantly jump start the momentum.

With the world economic downturn price advantage is paramount. Also, with the popularity of greater 'interactivity' in games associated with the Wii-mote, the move to the next gener...
