It'll probably be successful since there IS a market for it and it doesn't have to sell nearly as much as the big 3 to make a profit.

FFXIII was the fastest selling game they ever released so it was far from a mistake.
Their only mistake this gen was releasing FFXIV incomplete and not delaying it.
They can delay FFFvsXIII all they want as long as it's complere.
Most of you should go read the actual interview by this developer. He raises legitimate points of why the length of this gen can be seen as a mistake.
But go ahead and resort to off-topic name calling and complaining about XIII and vsXIII like usual.
Persona 3 and Valkyria Chronicles felt like truly unique experiences (when they came out at least).
I really enjoyed Vampire The Masquerade from its theme change from other rpgs too.
That was an excellent interview. It's nice to see the insight of developers sometimes. I'm the type of person who is totally for a 10-year long current gen but he did raise some great points against it.
It's very disappointing to know. Some of he PS2 textures were better too.

It really depends on what's the most common one. I remember black ps1s and wii were thought to be sexier than the original color schemes and how the black Wii U is seen as sexier than the white default one. Man, I had a really sexy white PS2.

If Microsoft offered a free version of Live without cross-game chat included the VAST majority of 360 players would jump on it.

The reason why the Wii didn't get much proper multiplat support wasn't because the system was way behind the other two, it was mostly because multiplats games didn't sell very well on it relatively speaking (or the developers that tried at least).
Even if the Wii U doesn't keep up graphically with the other two to come (which it will not), if it has good multiplat sales it WILL have multiplat support.
