Baldur's Gate II is better. But ME2 is top 10.
Left 4 Dead 2 was the best fps of 2009. KZ2 had horrible controls even for a console game and MW2 costs $60 and doesn't even support dedicated servers or mods.

It seems to me that western gamers just can't identify with japanese characers and game worlds. For example, jrpg worlds offer no consistency whatsoever. Magic is mixed with guns, swords, planes and lasers. Western rpgs offer a consistent world, whether it be fantasy, post-apoc or sci-fi. I don't think I need to explain our problem with jrpg characters...

I'm pretty sure Steam made a mint with the holiday sale. PC gaming isn't going anywhere, not when it has Starcraft II, Diablo III and Steam.
Correction it is the shooter on xbox. Counter strike has at least 3x the players on pc (where fps is played at a competitive level).

I'm sorry but GTA III had a much bigger impact than RE IV. It's also more fun IMO.
WOW is by far the game of the decade though. No other game in history has even come remotely close to the success of WOW. Blizzard laughs when they hear about how "big" MW2 is.

Half-Life 2 has better physics and animation. Look at Dog's animation, nothing in KZ2 is that well done. I don't feel the need to address the physics comment further.
