The 8/10 review said shooter fans will be disappointed. Maybe he didn't know he was playing an RPG?
The reviewer said some perks make you god-like. OK now I'm convinced that he didn't even play the multiplayer. Why is he allowed to write reviews?
this is the best FPS ever, rent it! I guess the reviewer just doesn't care for FPS in general, because they just don't get much better than CoD4.
Call of Duty 4 is the greatest FPS ever made.
Don't use the M16? The M16 is one of if not the best weapons in the game.
If you are serious into fighting games you know that the classic controller is not sufficient. Games like Guilty Gear and the SNK titles need a stick for proper control.
PC shooters and RPG's will generally be superior to their console competition. You just need a bit more money to be able to enjoy them.

Waawaa another evil corporation is going to ruin the future. Why are game developers so childish at times. Hopefully games don't bring politics into the arena and just stick to portraying our troops as the heroes they are. Hollywood is really a disgrace.

I played Call of Duty 1, and I have to say that the devs did a really good job of making the military look like the true heroes that they are. If they portray the current warriors in the same light, I think that this game will actually do some good. No propaganda needed there.
God of War is my fav game series ever. This is a real treat.

This review should be ignored. 9.4 IGN, 9.6 Gametrailers, 5/5 Gamespy. Those are the only sites I listen to. Seems like this game is a true classic.
