Yes HL2 is better than every single game you listed.
OK first of all HL2 is the best game of the decade and I agree with it's place. That said, WOW surely deserves a spot on the list.
Edit: And Baldur's Gate II is better than KOTOR in every possible way (including graphics).
And it will go away again w/in 12 months.

2 lol at reinvigorating the franchise there are 180k people playing cs this very moment on steam. It's the most popular fps besides mw2 and it will be more popular than mw2 once mw2 hype dies down in a few months. Cs hype hasn't died down in 10 years.
Mass Effect 2 is a giant improvement over Mass Effect 1 and is one of the top 5 rpgs ever imo (up there with BG2 and Fallout 2).
