I watch youporn.com from my PS3 all the time.
Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, does have an XMB screen-shot function, but it happens to be useless unless you like taking pics of the pause screen. Seriously I'm playing the game, I hit the home button, and it pauses the game to bring up the XMB, I select the screenshot function, and it closes the XMB to bring up the game's pause screen and only the option to press X to capture. So really it is useless, and I'm sure that was added in, simply because they were using the new SDK.
However, where the freak is the PS3 DLC? It has already been delayed, and to tell the truth, this will be the last generation that I buy anything Bethsoft makes.
Not only that but every guy in my battalion that games, has a PS3. We have waited patiently while you ignore us every chance you get, and whisper sweet nothings in our ear to quiet our concerns.
I've already got a petition in full swing for boycott from my entire battalion, and am now working on other ba...
I appreciate it guys. Nice avatar...
Where is the PS3 version though? I have this for PC, but I had heard that DLC was coming to PS3. Was it just an empty promise made in order to quiet the Sony crowd, or is there a date set yet?
No, you shut up. Who are you to come on here and give orders? I have no idea who you are, and vice versa. Trust me, you want to keep it that way. Everything he said was true. The Power glove for the original Nintendo Entertainment System, had a more rudimentary form of motion detection, and that was back in '89. As for Natal, it's on even ground compared to the basic feature functionality as the PS Eye. You seem to forget that the Eye, has a refresh rate of 120hz(640*480) for precision tracki...
This journalism site doesnt understand the nature of the CellBE, and how 256mb of XDR running at the native frequency of 3.2ghz in conjunction with native, an on-die ram controller translates into burst speed level 3 cache as well as one of the most powerful and innovative processors ever engineered. Also what about the Nueral Impulse actuator? Conveniently forgot about the device that converts brain wavelengths into native computer commands? Oh, right, that isnt innovative at all. My bad, as...
I was a launch owner. I think Sony understands that in order to repair, improve and cement the image of their products, they need to re-invent, and improve their existing products. That is the nature of innovative technology, driving ever forward. I used the sixaxis extensively, at least 3 times per game, to give it a good judgement. What I see is a device that fulfills it's intended purpose, and it does it to a high degree of accuracy, however new technology presents it's own developer's inc...
This could light the industry ablaze in areas previously thought to offer only the cold shoulder. I see it like this, what are the only drawbacks to sparring/boxing? Head injuries and fatigue, and as a former golden glove, this excites me. If they implement this correctly into a boxing game, you could get excellent core training, hand-eye coordination, cardiovascular endurance, and even weight-loss, without having to worry about inherent head injuries, or working outside a pace that your used...
While under Peter Molyneux, Lionhead Studios has done an excellent job of making games... though they arent as adept at keeping promises. To me that says that they are ambitious and perhaps ahead or their creative order. Lionhead brought us the Black and White games first, then the Fable games, both were very ambitious titles, and I think the biggest problem, was that the hardware was not yet powerful enough to fulfill Lionhead's obligations, so it left the games under-recieved and over promi...
A famous novelist has writer's block so his wife suggests that they go away to a secluded cabin to battle said writer's block. Soon enough he finds that a narrative script from one of his stories(that he doesnt remember writing) has become manifested. Thats where the similarities end though, as it isnt really supernatural so much as it is a thriller. As for Alan Wake, I have every bit of confidence that Remedy will iron out any kinks in the current build, and deliver an outstanding game, that...
Let it be an exclusive. I am tired of getting games that are ported down to compensate for inferior engineering. If they stop insulting PS3 only owners by releasing a game that doesnt do half of what exclusives do, fine by me. Its sad really, as I have been a Bethesda faithful for a very long time, but this is the final shafting that I'll take. Gamers should be more discriminant against companies that choose to willingly give them an inferior experience.
After watching the video I can only surmise that
A.) this is an early build, even though it looks great.
B.) The game is going to be awesome, it already plays more dynamically than GTA4 and Saints Row 2, and thats not even saying how much better it looks than other open-world games.
C.) The protagonist is someone that I'll have to develop a connection to, by playing through the story.
D.) the combat is pretty diverse and dynamic, with lots of punching, kicking, fli...
Pretty interesting topic. TheKiller, just as it is wrong to portray all muslims in a negative light, so is it wrong to judge the majority, based on a slim minority. We cannot expect two wrongs to magically create a right, can we? I didnt write or sketch the cartoon, so why do I feel like your lumping me into the same class and phylum as those that did. I am not paid to express my opinions on the war, or its beginings regardless, I'll leave it out.
I do look at videogames as an ...
I have a 360 , like I have mentioned numerous times in alot of posts, and even in my profile.
Again, I ask you what if it were you facing this anti-consumer decision on the developer's part? Exactly, but thats fine that you dont quite grasp it....however, look me up and shoot me a PM when you do so that I can direct you to a solution.
Also in my very last post up above, I already mentioned the kind of person you are, and I have already encouraged people like you to take an intra...
Say you had a certain type of cancer, that was only tangible to treat with one treatment in the world. Now say I was the seller of that treatment, you paid for the medication, but not the completely unique way of administering it. I refuse to give the the means to apply the treatment, because you only payed for the treatment itself, so you arent entitled to the applicator because of an agreement that I reached with the pharmecuetical companies with a monetary incentive/bribe. You die a slow a...
I'm over missing out on DLC and the complete story, thats fine. However I am not okay with Bethesda putting a level cap on the game when they never intended to bring DLC to the platform anyways. Why is it so hard to understand that I and many others would like to enoy the original base story with the ability to level up past 20 like the 360 version can with the DLC. Thats the shame. I am not delusional, and you are entitled to your opinion, but if I state how I feel based on a company's pract...
Why there are even a vocal few, that advocate these kinds of actions, just because it's happening opposite, their console of choice? What if the roles were reversed, and Sony did in fact offer monetary bribes/incentives, to keep Xbox 360 owners from enjoying a full experience? All hell would break loose, but I am more of an exception than the rule, because I am a multi-console owner, and fanboy to none. I am a fan only to the experience. I would like all gamers to have an even playing feild, ...
The PS3 version is crippled with a level 20 cap, as in you can go no further without DLC. That limits your ability to play the game to the fullest, and to add insult to injury PS3 doesnt get the DLC that the 360 and PC get so the game is definitely not complete. Even if Bethsoft dont want to release the DLC for PS3, take the freaking level cap off, so that we can enjoy all the perks that they took the time to program into the game. I say, if the game costs $60.00 on both platforms(PC excluded...
Piracy on the Playstation 3 of Playstation 3 format games cannot be done as of yet. Its not a matter of programming prowess, there simply is no GPU acceleration from within Linux other than a rather modest frame buffer(no 3-D support or acceleration).
That goes without mentioning Sony's already effective, "on-die" method of devoting one core of the CellBE at ALL times to running only signed packages when a format check is necessary(i.e. constant checks are used, as de...
