After seeing some previews I was excited to play this game. Sat down with the fam only to discover no couch co-op/mp and menus filled with cosmetic transactions. The developers claimed they ran out of time and it was too difficult to add split screen. What the really meant is there isn't enough money selling microtransactions in couch play. This game should have been free-to-play.
If you could skip dialog, it wouldn't be a Nintendo game.
Rise is the best of the modern Tomb Raiders. Fight me!
There is also a certain group on this site that won't accept any criticism of the game. If it's not rated a perfect 10/10 then the screeching begins. The truth is this is a very political game and if you agree with the politics, it's a 10 and if you disagree, it's a 0. I don't really care one way or the other about this game (never played the first one) so I can step back and see both sides are voting with their morals. It sucks that people who have never played the game a...
How many lesbians does it take to change a lightbulb?
THAT'S NOT FUNNY!!!!
Yeah, that's not cringy
How the hell did this show up on my frontpage?! Targeted marketing? I should probably delete my browsing history.
You must be a journalist.
And don't forget Pillars of Eternity added turned based because of the popularity of it.
Oh, man, I really want some new D:OS2 stuff. An expansion pack would be awesome.
Seconded. Hollow Knight's boss fights are far more difficult than Ori.
Lots of people seem to be drawn to the literary nonsense of Alice in Wonderland but I've never been a fan of the chaos and anti-logic of it. I think my mind needs more structure and I can't seem to enjoy it. This game, however, looks like it will be quite a trip and pretty phenomenal in VR.
Dark Souls Remastered and Dying Light are the rumored games.
I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion on here, but the more I hear about this game, the less excited I am for it.
Looking at you .hack//G.U. Last Recode
Except it's not an indie game. Both this game and the previous one are published by Microsoft. Why do people think if it's not a FPS with life-like graphics, it's an indie game? Indie means it doesn't have the support of a large publisher and therefore has far less money (usually) for development.
Came here to say this. I guess neither company thought they were evil enough on their own.
I'm confused. I thought Telltale was gonegone?
I heard that right this very instant, they have hundreds of people slaving night and day to turn out enough digital versions to meet demand. It is so tiring and exhausting that they can only make enough to get to March, after which they will have to stop for entirely logical and consumer friendly reasons.
Also, fuck Nintendo for following the Disney playbook by artificially creating demand.
