I would probably drop MoP to the spot after Legion but otherwise I agree with the list.
1. Elden Ring
2. Elden Ring
3. Elden Ring
4. Elden Ring
5. Elden Ring
6. Elden Ring
7. Horizon Forbidden West
8. Elden Ring
9. Elden Ring
10. Elden Ring
Is there a way to play this game on modern systems today without using an emulator and ROMs? I kind of want to give it a try now.
Edit: oops, glossed over where the article says steam port
Coach Madden. He earned that honorific.
thegamer has emerged as the worst clickbait gaming site on the web. They are the buzzfeed of gaming.
Grabbed by the Ghoulies vibes
Keep in mind, PETA are the people that once equated eating eggs to the Nazi Holocaust. Take that into account when you consider anything they have to say.
@Foreskinner
Oh,NO! Not Twitter?! And it's the ENTIRETY of twitter??? Whatever will people do? Meh, go back to your twatter if that's important to you. Nobody else cares
This is what we call "manufactured outrage". Nobody is really complaining about what Thor looks like, except maybe a few youngsters that are thinking "That's not Chris Hemsworth!".
Forget it. pal. You are not correct.
This is silly. There have always been both short and long video games. It took me half a year and hundreds of hours to complete Ultima 4 back in 1985. The early Legend of Zelda games always took me months to complete. I played Heroes of Might and Magic 3 forever before completing the campaign.
Very refreshing to see a story give the list right at the top of the article rather than making you click through it 15 times. Having said that, how do you not have HoMM3 on the list?! Yes, it's turn-based strategy, but it still has a strong multiplayer following 22 years later.
I agree with you about Bloodborne but you repeatedly insist on calling AC a live service. It's not. You either don't know what 'live service' means or you've never played AC. It has a modest amount of dlc, none of which is important to the game or required for anything other than flavor.
Cairns should have been dead last. Trying to balance rounded rocks (that you can't feel) with digital physics was the definition of frustration.
@anast
You clearly haven't played the game. It's not 'chopped in a million pieces'. If you don't want to wander around the map clearing out side quests and finding the secrets, you don't have to. The main storyline progresses at a fairly quick pace and the game never gets hard (not like Souls hard, anyway). I never once thought about buying a boost and I had plenty of money and XP to finish the game without grinding. And the MTX are completely hidden unless yo...
It's not a live service. I bought Valhalla on sale one month after launch for $40 and haven't spent a dime more on it since. MTXs are only if you go to the store and are only cosmetic (as far as I can tell, I really don't shop there). AC has some issues but you don't know what you're talking about.
The headline is worded poorly. The article lists the best FromSoft games. It also has a section of Most Underated FromSoft games. They aren't the same and if you only know them from their Souls/BB/Sekiro then it's a pretty good article.
This is only for buying game time, not for subscribing. You can still subscribe to be charged monthly, 3 month or 6 months at a time.
FromSoft and George RR Martin. Hmmmm...I wonder what it will be rated.
Who is this article for? People who know about the Roundtable Hold, but don't know how to get there? Who is that? Everybody stumbles into the Hold early in the game without even trying. I doubt anyone is searching the internet trying to figure out how to get there
