Dev cycles are too long. Arkham Knight came out in 2014. Even if it's fantastic is 8 years really worth it? EIGHT YEARS!

RTX is a new product line, which could be used against my argument honestly. But anyway. There was logic to it, Turing was not on previous roadmaps as it was an architecture being worked on alongside the product line for 10 years. They claim it would take another 10 years for non hardware accelerated gpus to achieve the raytracing performance of their Turing arch. Nvidia likes playing with numbers 21 years 21 days until the announcement, it's exactly what they did 2 years ago.
No life is extreme but yeah 10 hours sessions seems rare. You really don't do ANYTHING else in a whole day, frequently. And the percentage of "professional gamers" and reviewers is incredibly low.
The PS3s face buttons we actually analog but I don't believe the R1/L1 were.
I have NO idea how long my controllers battery last. I plug it in when I'm done and often use it wired with the PC so it's almost never been low. It's never been an issue to me either.

I guess most of my faith lays in believing Xbox has fans and they'd get the console even without Halo but I guess by my downvotes you people don't think Xbox has any value outside of Halo.

I don't think the delay is a MASSIVE blow to launch the way the XSX is being promoted anyway I think it will sell most of if not all it's stock anyway, I imagine there will just be some disappointed Halo fans that will have to spend their time on a different game over the holidays.

Not really, as long as you understand that Playstation is the whole platform and Playstation Studios would be only their first party games.
Well there's a lot of whale games and Playstation gets 30% of all of it on the platform so I'm not surprised.
A whole exclusive character seems real ridiculous.
MSs recent show could of used a trailer from this. It's a mighty impressive looking game but there was probably a reason.
I pretty much agree with brrdatsiback. It's not exactly Nvidias technique and a similar feature could be done in a different way. Nvidia uses hardware acceleration with the tensor cores to avoid taking performance from the main chip but PSs solution might need to use the primary GPU to achieve the same result at some cost.
Exciting news if it's anywhere as good as Nvidias DLSS 2.0.
@Coldsin Multiple viewports is actually pretty tough for rasterized graphics and as graphics have become more complex that's become more true.
