New Creed I think requires a specific taste. I say it's focused enough but a lot of the focus is being asked of the player. You are given a world to walk around and take in. There was a moment that clicked for me with Origins, it was a hot day with my window open and the sun beaming in and I could SMELL the Nile, if felt really close to it. It was a marvelous moment. I hear the game changed a TON from the demo. Not saying it's GREAT now but better than the demo.
A demo in that state might have been the worst thing they could do.

Found out about this yesterday and I'm already putting it to use.
Capcom has been on top of it's game for a few years now. I'm not even a big Resident Evil fan but between the RE remakes, new RE, Devil May Cry 5, and just how good the RE Engine is, they are doing great.
Edit: Also Monster Hunter is bigger than ever, they finally made that Megaman 11, bringing back Ghost and Goblins.

That's just how end of a generation games are. Very impressive but ultimately you can see limitations.
This is also a HUGE investment of an installment and releasing only on PS5 would butcher the number of units they could sell. Every PS5 owner would have to have bought it to even come close. Not to mention all the PS4 owners who would want to buy it but aren't able to get a PS5.

There is plenty of momentum last I checked they would only need to have a price cut if sales were slowing down, otherwise they would just be throwing away money.
I had some fun in MP TLOU but going back later was only highly skilled players. With no skill based matchmaking it was just wildly frustrating.
I agree, the frequent jumping in time does not do it for me. In the first game you grow together but in 2 it's more like you're just checking in on everyone.
What did it for me was the inclusiveness was done in a way that introduced problems so that has an opposite effect where people can easily be frustrated and upset at these inclusions.
Spider-Man Miles Morales was done much better and to my knowledge nobody has used fully rendered sign language in a game. It was non-intrusive and charmingly done I think.
I don't like review bombing but this is not the way a creative business should be run. Metacritic should not be taken so seriously and to judge the success on a game by it is a disrespect and failure.
