@z501
Kinect is a hardware periphrial that nobody wanted and was never used.
BC is something that is indesputably an added value preposition through software.
Throughing away the Kinect thing what are you trying to say?
That including BC makes a product worse?
Oh I see you're doing this to everyone. It doesn't make sence, I don't see any parallels.
I haven't no clue what you mean. It seems like your just saying random things. PS4 doesn't have BC, PS5 will emulate PS4, many games will work at launch but it will take time for their emulator to be able to play all games. Kinect 2.0 was just a missjudgment by MS glued to launch XBOs losing them the early market to the cheaper PS4. The Kinect being reduced at this point to "oh yeah, that thing."
But I waaaant it. D:
By having it? I was just copying over the article fam.
What's with the downvotes, I was just transcribing the article?
It is.
Most of the list seems like it's just taking from the things they've already said they're working on. -_- so yaduh
And streaming games kinda sucks, I don't care. It's for really casual players so I don't think It'd apply to anybody who would bother reading a playstation article.
If there's a demographic interested in streaming games outside of being a super casual I'd like to hear it.
(not trying to sound condescending, I legit am...
1. The build quality and battery life of the controller
2. The noise levels of the console
3. Cross play and cross save support
4. Proper backwards-compatibility
5. PlayStation Now isn't tempting enough
I feel like they're just answering questions how they're expected to and not really thinking through what each stance could be.
ie "Does it seem a little late to require PS5 compat. for PS4 games starting july?"
No i CAN'T be done much earlier, you would likely need to get a LOT more dev units out in the wild which means more leaking for a console that we haven't seen yet as well as some aspects still being tba.
As it is now if Daemon ask ...
Huge Fucking Zombie Tits.
As soon as we stop arguing about who "won," we all win.
Teraflops never mattered to any developer. It's just a number from multiplying core counts and frequency, ignoring EVERYTHING else in a system. Once MS premiered XBOX with the TF numbers every news outlet started talking about it because it's a simple number for brainlets to argue about.
It sounds like both consoles will be absolute beasts but for now everything is theoretical until we have the games in our hands and had some time to learn the hardware.
I thought the first trailer was amazing and exactly the thing I'd like BUT,
they said one of the features is looting, which isn't a feature AND
Gearbox is uh asshole.
How should I know. Be an adult.
(I just like hatin' on article titles.)
People still use DVDs. I'm not so sure about that.
You're the reason devs focus too much on graphics. Raw power isn't even on the podium of importance. And this Terraflops contest is something literally no dev uses as a metric. It's only a physical calculation of cores and frequency, it has nothing to do with how well something performs even in synthetic tests.
Also pretty freakin rude.
Played the video with no display?
There will still be some benefits, like largely load times, which is still nice. It'd likely be minimal though as Both will still be using SSDs anyway, PSs SSD is insane but Xboxs is pretty fast too, it's still SSD and it will take some time to see benefits too.
