I think it's a lil too early for Morpheus, especially as it's technically a gaming peripheral. Focusing on Morpheus would technically be like focusing on Kinect. Get the core games sorted first and then focus on it at a gdc or gamescom.

It is about sales. Apparently the NPD coming out on thursday shows Xbone dipping slightly under 100K sold with PS4 at a 2:1 lead in North America.

Resolution discrepancies will carry on until holiday 2015. Watchdogs this week, another major multiplat soon after. Witcher 3 has already been reported to run better on PS4.
Sony currently has the more diverse in genre and price of games on its system currently. Even the quantity is greater and ever growing(check wikipedia). Couple that with inferior multiplats...the PS4 is literally winning on all fronts. All of this stone cold hard fact.
Not that it will happen for sure but Sunset Overdrive and Titanfall have equal chance of jumping ship to multiplatform too. ;). Not to mention they'll run better as well. I guess Xbox fans are almost like b...

This should help them get back in the sales race some what. This also does render kinect as the over priced voice controller that it always looked like and always was. The gaming software for it is terrible, it's a terrible gaming peripheral like the first kinect. It is the buttonless mouse. The move is equally a joke but it has buttons and ACTUAL precis...
There will be disparity in multiplatform titles all the way up until DX12 drops in winter 2015. Long gen for some folk I feel. Might as well expect worse running multiplats on Xbone now.
Ubi will have to make a statement soon enough. Either that or digital foundry will put this to rest when it's finally released.

Because it is a gimmick....but the xbox was built AROUND kinect as well. Making the Xbone an even more tragic case. Almost a lose/lose situation.
