PS4 also has more games on it than Xbone and more coming this year, I know that may sting knowing that but it's genuinely stone cold fact. Not Sony's fault you restrict or have poor game taste. Nope, just developers talking about the alteratives to DX and their advantages. If anyone's nervous it would be you and MS with their DX since it's still preferred or considered the standard in game coding.

Sony had their hardware reveal at one of the most important gaming events of the year in front of thousands of gamers watching and even more streaming. Not to mention threw curve balls with the policies thing, the viral youtube video about sharing and last but not least, price!

You gotta think about it though. Every game can be literally summed up by their basic genre traits. Hell the next call of duty will have bland generic gameplay for instance: You'll shoot stuff, you'll reload and you'll hide behind things so you can't get shot. That literally sums up any first person shooter.

People need to buy the console first to be bothered about playing these implied third party exclusives. MS need to get their console sold first. They already have a lot of 2nd party games and Titanfall and that hasn't done them any favours.

To be fair it makes sense. If the ICE Team were the brains behind the cracking of the CELL then I imagine they'll make performance increases in strides with simply architecture and what not.
