I think I'll wait until 2017 when the xbone has finished its beta testing. Seems like all this console power it's got is still a long ways off being unlocked. No point in buying one right now. PS4 can pretty much do what the Xbone will do in the future right off the bat now it seems, no wonder people are snapping it up like hot cakes :D.
Xbox fanboys are just in for an extremely long generation. They're already rubbed the wrong way and passive aggression is there. They will latch on to anything that remotely means goods news for the 'bone without even thinking about it or investigating. Must be tough coming from an incredibly strong gen where the 360 had many strengths to tout about on many internet websites and forums.

Isn't the Xbone already out in its primary selling countries though? Let's be honest, it's quite the American-centric box. Do you honestly believe these Tier 2 countries, who are getting the 'bone almost a whole year later, are going to make much impact?
I mean come on, one of those countries is Japan for crying out loud and Europe is literally Sony land. Gotta give Sony the credit where it's due for snatching up NA and UK as well.

The question of an internet connection has and always will be a problem. Think about why you didn't get an always online console and come back to me ;).
So MS plans to splinter the XBone install base by having some people who can afford the type of broadband, hell even be eligible for fibre broadband that can allow these types of experiences...but yet the people who bought an Xbone with the not so good internet will be getting worse, or inferior versions of the same games...

Very well said. In an xbox fanboy world what happens is that as DX12 is slowly implemented the PS4 starts to dismantle itself as it progresses backwards in optimisation.
Sigh. If the PS4 API is already very mature and development friendly, think how it's going to be by the time DX12 comes out! Maybe we should start our own secret sauce quest, heh.
