RauLeCreuset, third party titles allowing crossplay will not make a dent in our enjoyment of Sony exclusives. Anyone who is on the fence to buy a system is not going to see crossplay as a reason. Especially for games like Rocket League that can be played on a potato.

Who was trying to make Sony look bad, Psyonix? I can never understand this desire to support a company that is just protecting itself. There is no downside to you. In fact it could be an upside with even larger groups to play with unless of course you prefer to play with PC players which makes about zero sense over playing with Xbox and Switch players.
In other words they should have beta tested this game more.

Most seem to forget that consoles usually have a shelf life of 5-6 years. The PS3 and Xbox 360 are not the normal lifespans.

Looks like the Xbox One has ruined your childhood, you can't go a day without trashing it. The Move controllers are not very good at all for movement which is what this is about. Temper, temper, over plastic toys no less. The original Vive controllers also lacked input like fingers, so it's all a learning curve moving forward. Why you get so defensive is alarming.
