We have seen plenty of single player games get online components added, they do it because of longevity, revenue, and popularity. Is there a reason why some of you feel almost angry at how popular online games are?
The industry is going to go where they can make money and the money usually ties into what games people play. Spiderman made lots of money, Fortnite makes way more money but there is a market for both.
