@Axios:
"LOL, at everyone bring up World Wide figures
53 countries vs 13 countries"
It doesn't matter if its 100 countries to 1. Its not Sony's fault that xbox is not popular globally.
@truefan:
No wonder you only have one bubble. Because that was the most asinine comment I've ever read. Considering the fact that the PS4 is outselling the xbox1 in north america and worldwide. And Killzone has outsold every xbox1 exclusive. Im not sure what possessed you to write that comment. But come on, you've gotta do better than that.
@MysticStrummer:
Nah. He started gaming in 2005.
@Axios:
"According to the article
Forza
Dead Rising 3, and
Ryse
have all outsold Killzone "\
Which is not even relevant because Killzone outsold all of those games worldwide.
Stop trolling and move along please.
Companies also want to outsell their competitor and grow their user base. When you outsell your competition, that shows that you can potentially have a bigger and brighter future than your competitor. Basically, companies want to have their cake, and eat it too.
"who's making the most money between the two."
Well if Sony continue to outsell them every week like this. In the long run, Sony will obviously make more money. Software sales will eventually surpass the xbox1's as well. And also with Sony, you have to remember they are always supporting more than one platform. They are also earning profit from ps vita and PS3. And we will have to see about PS now.
According to vgchartz.com its PS4 4.9 million, and xbox1 3.4 million.
"But how is that kicking MS ass?"
Because the PS4 has outsold the xbox1 every single week. The lead is growing.
Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeros is an extended demo. Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is the full game, an open world game.
Michael Pachter has obviously missed the whole point of PS now. PS now is not meant to be an onlive or a netflix gaming service. Its meant to be a streaming service that allows you to play PAST PS titles. Not titles that was just recently released. Obviously there will be a few just recently released titles because we just started a new generation.
Thanks for commenting again so I can read what you originally replied to me with. But anyway, there is nothing wrong with having the right to bear arms. I know thats interesting coming from my screen name. lol But anyway, abandoned or not. Im still taking something with me, even if its just a baseball bat. :)
lol That guy must have a death wish. Sneaking in an insane asylum with no weapon at all.
@TriangleOffense:
"god no. how and why would you assume that out of anything I said ?"
Okay so now, with that said. People bought the game because they wanted it. period. If they did not want the game or they didn't think it would be good. They would have not bought it.
@TriangleOffense:
So you are telling me that you would buy a game, not because you wanted it, but just because?? Dont be silly.
@HomerJDog:
It was the best exclusive launch next gen game period. So yeah, it does makes sense.
@The_Infected:
"What did I get the disagrees for liking the Dualshock 4 better or the Xbox One? Lol"
lol You know you can't make an honest pro Sony comment in an xbox article on this website without getting hammered with disagrees. lol And the same goes if you make a pro xbox comment in a playstation article. lol You just cant be honest on this site. You have to kiss the articles butt. :)
@moujahed:
That is an extremely good question. We are talking about the man that creating one of the most famous video game icons of all time.
I feel that some of you are definitely missing the point of the article. The point is that females are often disrespected online just because they are female. Yeah its true that guys get disrespected online also, but not because we are guys. You should never be disrespected or treated less just because you are female. Thats the point.
Its really kinda silly for them to sell the franchise for 100m when they could have made so much more money by making the franchise multiplatform.
You see. Thats what I like about Kojima. He is always trying to think outside the box.
