That depends on the size of the TV, anything about 32 inches and you can easily see the difference between 720p and 1080p.

For me I would say the PSone. Not only did it have a really good launch lineup, but games were changing at that time, the PSone showcased how to properly do 3d games.

Yeah we all do. But unfortunately the NFL doesn't care anything about what gamers want. They will probably just blindly renew the deal without even considering what gamers want.
Its really not that difficult to get almost any game thats supposedly only on windows, to run on Linux. You just gotta know what you're doing. But anyway, I don't see why it was necessary for that developer to make that comment. Playstation gamers don't hate Microsoft, playstation gamers don't like Xbox. There is a big difference there.

Now I know a lot of people tend to have very short memories. But this reminds of 2006, right after the PS3 had launched and the 360 fanboys on the internet were constantly bashing it saying things like "PS3 has no games" "PS3 online sucks" PS3 is just a 600$ BD player" Playstation gamers know all about negative hype and bashing, because they went throuh it all in 200...

I call B.S. on that. Because no developer is gonna spend that much time and money trying to max out a "Nvidia Quadro K6000".
Bottom line. Is that, we need more and more 10 and 15 dollar side scrolling platforming games. They have been some of the best arcade titles this gen.
