The crashes suck, especially when going for the survive in extreme climates achievement. Game would crash almost every two hours if I didn't do anything. And the crashes nearly everytime I warped more than once in a row I thought were bad at first and then somehow after around thirty jumps, he game would crash every time I tried to warp.
Then the update came out and I have had only one crash. So, the patch worked wonders for me but I am so sorry that it has screwed it up for you...
I was going to go back to the list and paste some stuff here but the list is gone now....strange. Anyway, one of the things on list were bugs. Thanks to Sony whooping there ass, they finally got the ball rolling on creating an ecosystem. Apple has been doing it for years with their devices. MS should have been keeping a closer eye on Apple's methods and less on Sony's tactics.
Sony has left the past behind starting with the PS3 remodel to the PSP, Vita, and PS TV. Sony has no identity as a whole of all its products. MS doesn't either but they seem like they have been making an attempt to get there recently.
It's crashed for me as well but only a few times and only in warp speed. But for me, I can easily look over that bug.
The game is a polarizing one, most likely because it is a fresh idea. I am sorry you are having a bad time. I am having a blast. Hopefully you can get your money back or at least sell/ trade it in. There's millions of people that shied away from No Man's Sky due to the price tag.
2.5 out of 5 yet it reads like an 8 at least. Everything said in the article is exactly why I love the game. It's not Hello Games that failed at making the game. It is the players that expected something different when everything was clearly stated from the get go.

I did not mean to reply directly to you or come off kind of aggressive but I feel that many other people on here are confused as to what good artwork sells for, even prints. If there is a demand for the work, the price will almost always be higher.
What about developers? Because Hello Games was the one who made the game and had full control over the project including promotional material. Hello games was very reluctant to give any information for years until they realized that the people were hyping the game up in there own head as to what the game will be rather than what it is.

Exactly. People like you can wait it out and make more of an informed decision. I will gladly blow my money on anything remotely interesting so games and systems like No Man's Sky and the PS4 Neo get made. My wallet might not agree with me but there's a place in this world for everybody.
I must say, though, while there are some obvious flaws, No Man's Sky is the single, greatest, game I have ever played. Not to hype up Hello Games or anything. Lol.

I agree completely. Review the game/give it a score based on what other games in its genre have scored. Oh, it's in a league of its own? Then base your review on the game that it is and not the game that you wanted it to be. Although, if I based my review off of what I wanted it to be, it would be the best game ever, 10 out of 10.

Man, I love this game. Cannot put the controller down. I'm torn, though, between looking on the Internet for help or figuring it out on my own. Also, I was so caught up in this game last night that I forgot to record footage of my home planet. I was seriously thinking of going back but I doubt I'd be able find my original crash site.

Everyone starts out in the same Galaxy. But it is one of many galaxies in the universe. The patch notes say that galaxies are 10x larger, implying that after we reach the center we will have access to multiple galaxies. This also clarifies the whole universe/galaxy mix up.
I have yet to see any leaked/early gameplay so I don't know anything for sure. All I do know, is there are about 13 more excruciating hours until I can boot up No Man's Sky. Playing Destiny right...
Right. This guy used loop holes that maybe he could only find. There is an entire galaxy that everyone is starting out in. I doubt the same track he found to the center exists within the galaxy for another player, let alone the millions that will be playing this game.
