Me too. Now I just need the update. I can't remember the day I got the last update.
Wish these deals would work with digital downloads as well.
I wonder how this will work with a two console household using the home console feature. Can I add a HDD to both consoles, put all my digital games on both HDDs, and access one console with my Gamertag and the other, home console, anyone can play the games on the HDD.
Also, with the USB powered HDD, will the Xbox be able to handle/run those without issue?
The map needed to be big to accommodate air travel. Also, those big empty areas were great for car races.
And, yea, there were not enough missions to take advantage of that huge map. Hopefully WatchDogs will make the most out of the map. I'm so excited for this game. I'm at Titanfall levels of excitement. I'm just hoping that I'm not setting the bar too high for myself.
Edit:
I just took a closer look at the map comparison and the s...
I'm pretty sure someone invading your game won't ruin the experience. They can hack your cell but you don't have to engage. At least that's how I've interpreted it.
I Ike both but Seagate is usually cheaper and is just as good as WD. Just remember, you do nott need all the bells & whistles. The Xbox One is only able to use the HDD space, not the software that comes with the drive.
6 v 6 in Titanfall works better than most people thought it would. Respawn could have put more players in a lobby but purposefully kept it at 12. More pilots means more titans and more titans wouldn't fit. More pilots and say goodbye to wallrunning. Wallrunning increases your speed at the expense of exposure and vulnerability. The strategy within Titanfall is best imagined with 6 v 6.
I assume Activision and Bungie have been through similar testing as EA and Respawn hav...
Me too. Nearly all of my friends have an XB1 but only a few are getting Watch Dogs. Plus, I'm running out of space on my XB1. Then there is the extra content n the PS4 and the higher resolution. I don't know what to do.
In regards to the 55 second boot time, I think that is a fair amount of time to wait given that it's an open world game. I hope, though, that this improves as we move further into this generation.
The comparison between current gen and last gen is fine and I'm happy to see these comparisons. However, the article was written in a way that sounded like they were trying to convince people that the PS4 version was better. Also, comparing PS4 to Xbox 360 seems misleading in itself. It's almost like the author was trying to trick people into mistakingly thinking this was a PS4/Xbox One comparison.
What I'm really interested in is how the XB1 compares to the PS4....
@warczar
I lol'd. That is very true but while Sony's controllers look "normal", when I use them they feel "cockassed". Not so much anymore because the DS4 is a great controller but the DS3 definitely feels very strange for person who spent most of their time with Xbox consoles.
While I love my Xbox One as I did all my Xbox consoles, I do not approve of slander of any kind. Saying gamers are happier with the 360 vs. the ps3 serves no purposes and is just plain rude. If you want to promote your product then fine. Don't downplay someone else's success or someone's enjoyment.
Also, I don't agree with Mehdi. I loved my 360. I played it a hell of a lot more than my PS3. However, I was happier with the PS3. Why? Because there was always s...
While I believe I would be able to tell the difference between the two, I'll still be picking this up,for the Xbox One instead of my PS4. The reason? All my friends and family have Xbox Ones. It sounds strange but everyone I know loves the Kinect and they love the Xbox controller with the asymetrical analog sticks.
So, the PS4 version may be the best but I'm stuck getting multiplats on the One.
Which ever version you get, I hope you have fun. This game look...
The story lines were never really bad. I always liked them except for Ghosts. The problem is the lack of innovation of gameplay. The game mechanics are solid. The story is good the gameplay is good. But being just good is bad after CoD 4 raised the bar so high. If we could get the innovation of the first Modern Warfare with the openness of objectives in CoD 3, I would be very happy. CoD is too linear.
Provide choice to the gamer and sales will be higher than ever.
It's great for new comers and fans of Halo alike. The question now is How much? I'm hoping for $60.
A 17 hour game being squeezed into a 2 1/2 hour movie.
Books are one thing. The subtleties of a movie can represent many pages of a book.
A video game is the combination of a book, a movie, and an album, while being interactive at the same time. Music in a game can play a much bigger role than it does in a movie. Often times it tells the story on its own.
Trying to fit all that into a couple of hours can never capture the true essence of a video ...
Back up plans are still part of the plan.
I don't think they wanted to unbundle kinect but if they were put into a position as they are now, they would do it. Phil Spencer was probably the person to make the decision on when to drop the kinect. And he pushed to have it done before E3.
I know it costs a bit extra but if you are able to rent the game you could download it from the disc and then purchase the digital copy. That way you don't have to wait years for a digital download. As far as the patch goes, I think you can opt out of it if you download the disc while disconnected from the internet. I've never done this but I heard of others doing it.
Most patches generally replace most of the data as opposed to adding more. For example, with this patch, 4GB may be deleted from the original 47GB. Which means only 1GB is added, making the total HDD space used for the game is 48GB
I bet MS is kicking their ass that they waited so long to promote Spencer. They should have fired Mattrick long ago.
I'm happy that they're making these changes. It's great for gamers. I just hope that this resolution issue will be resolved sooner than later. I suspect the consoles will be on a more even playing field when developers start focusing solely on the current gen systems.
Which one do you prefer more? Are the framerates equal?
I'm in the tough situation of deciding which version to get? Most of my friends are on Xbox One and I like the Xbox One controller especially for driving games. However, I like third person games better with the DS4 and I like the functionality of the touchpad. The PS4 version also has the edge on the graphics side ever so slightly.
