I think it was on Colbert that Colbert asked him if you’d be able to grief your friends, and Sean said yes. That’s an empirical lie. I think Sean is a next gen Peter Molyneux. When they announced Light No Fire (I think it was the Game Awards) Sean started bloviating again and Geoff literally cut him off to keep him from saying anything stupid. I don’t know as it’s from ill will, I think he’s genuinely excited about the projects and starts describing what’s in his head instead of what is guara...

A bullshit launch, but they legit earned the comeback.

PS4 Pro filled the niche of utilizing 4K screens. PS5 Pro is probably gunna fill the niche of running UE5 games acceptably. Lol

I really hope it’s a brand new IP

Cool. Did they ever actually fix the 3rd one?

Please god no.

Miyazaki said he thought waiting for new tech was compelling when talking about a Bloodborne remake. To me that means it will probably be a similar offering at PS6 launch like Demon’s Souls was for PS5. If we do actually get it. Cuz Demon’s Souls had a full gen between original and remake

Nice

It’s the fallacy of confirmation bias, everthing you hear that you agree with is automatically true, everything you disagree with is a woke conspiracy and anyone who likes it is a paid shill. I’m glad I don’t live in that world, it seems miserable. Maybe it’s satisfying though, thinking you’re a soldier in an imaginary war.

I’m guessing whatever their solution is is built specifically for Decima. It’s cool but it’s almost a little odd for one of Sony’s own companies to immediately upstage their hot new tech. I guess it’s good in a way though, Sony let them do their own thing to get the best result and didn’t try to force them to use PSSR when they had a better in house solution.

I feel like no one can engage with games at face value anymore. Like everything is a symbol now of some kind of “deeper problem”, either wokism or toxic gamer culture depending which side you’re on. I’m not saying there’s nothing to those arguments but maybe someday we can get back to just playing some fucking video games.

Setting aside the culture war aspect (which I know is impossible for some here) I do wanna say that at least it sounds like it’s not a technical disaster at launch like Andromeda and Anthem. So that’s something at least.

I was excited about Herman Hulz and to be fair he’s stepping into a bad situation. This is not good, however, and paired with them pushing Horizon as hard as they are I’m really hoping it isn’t an indicator of what to expect moving forward. Cuz this and the Horizon thing are starting to feel a lot like Ubisoft and AC.

It’s called confirmation bias. I hate when a game becomes ammunition in the culture war, it makes it almost impossible for anyone to engage with it for its ACTUAL merits or lack their off. If the other side hates it, they’ll feel like they need to defend it.

I’m playing it right now. Great game. And Ubisoft can’t have that, they have a reputation to uphold.

Well that sucks

It will never be wrong to mock Star Citizen.

468d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah f&$k this studio. The fact they’re trying again is brazenly ridiculous.

I will say that if you naturally have a completionist bent, PlayStation first party stuff tends to have reasonably accessible platinums. They don’t typically require multiple playthroughs or have trophies with really arbitrary objectives. Typically, some exceptions like the first Last of Us.
