Awesome! Maybe Arkane can claw it back and turn it into what it should have been. Glad to see they added a takedown animation, there was something so wrong about an Arkane game just having a shitty buttstroke hit as the stealth takedown. When I finally take the Xbox/PC plunge I’ll probably check it out now.

I mean I only held out maybe a 2 percent chance it would come to PS5. Cuz Elder Scrolls will absolutely sell consoles and they can’t be bothered to develop their own quality console sellers anymore. Kinda the entire reason they’re buying up half the industry in the first place. Sucks but this is gaming now I guess.
I played for like 5 hours at launch, then set it down, been waiting for this to essentially restart.
Hopefully it doesn’t negatively impact performance how it has in some past games
So glad to see a 40fps mode! Has become my preferred way to play in the games that have it, like Spider-Man and Ratchet. Noticeably smoother but without as many graphical compromises as 60FPS. Maybe in another 5 or 6 years when 120hz displays are the baseline 40 will be the new 30.
Bought it day one and put it down after like 3 hours. Looks like it’s time to jump back in.

You’d have to pay me to play this crap. And no, I haven’t tried it for myself, when 99 out of 100 people try a chocolate and report back that it’s actually a turd, I don’t find it necessary to taste it myself.
Yeah the memberberries are pulling a lot of weight for Bethesda. We have such fond memories, and hindsight is through rose colored glasses. So it would be hard to live up to our memory of things like Skyrim and Morrowind even if the new projects were just as good. Which they are not.
Don’t always like Echelon but he said it best. The game isn’t worth all the nonsense happening. It’s a “decent” by the numbers Bethesda RPG. Which means definitely fun to be had, but very outdated in a lot of its design and execution. If you’re enjoying it, cool. If not, cool. But this game is not worth all this melodramatic warfare nonsense. It’s just that there’s so much extra crap attached to this game, so much “game-political” nonsense that many people are losing all sense of objectivity....

It will all come down to money. If Starfield and whatever other Bethesda Microsoft exclusives cause a really measurable increase in consoles sold and GamePass membership, then Elder Scrolls will be exclusive. If the attachment rate is meh, then there’s a 5% chance they will allow it to come to PlayStation like a year after it releases on Xbox. I don’t know what percentage of each game sold would end up in Microsoft’s pocket after Sony and Bethesdas cut is taken, with something as massive as E...

If it’s going against the general flow of the rest of the reviews then yes. If it’s in line with everyone else, like God Of War 2018 where essentially everyone was giving it a 9.5 or a 10, then no.
It will be viable until all of we gamers in our 30s and 40s are dead. After that people will be like, “why does it look like this?” 😂
I don’t understand this. It already has a PS5 upgrade and visually looks amazing, regardless of how you feel about the actual game.
