Sweet! My interest just went up. My backlog can’t handle another open world game. There’s a place for open world, but I find density far more interesting than space for the sake of space.
What? Fuck no. If it were to take inspiration from an Ubisoft game, perhaps, Splinter Cell:Conviction/Blacklist. The combat in those is already somewhat John Wick like, center axis relock style shooting, just add more melee.
I guarantee it will be an optional unlock like the suits in Spider-Man.
Yeah the difficulty of it is it’s a two stage fight and his second form moves completely different. Thing is, the combat is so much fun I don’t care that I keep dying, I just keep getting better and better and further into the fight each time. Great combat, and it forces you to learn the controls right in the beginning.

Yup. I had my awesome time with the series, id much rather them make a sci-fi or fantasy new IP with that same degree of quality and polish.
To be fair, she didn’t write the awful dialogue, she did what she could with it. Actors are out in that position all the time, of having to try to sell just abysmal script writing.
Yeah I basically called this a couple weeks ago. I enjoyed Callisto, but it essentially served as an appetizer making me want to play the “real deal” again. Kinda win/win for all involved, they both got my money lol.

Is there any other reason this game is rated M other than to have Frey cursing like a sailor the whole time? Cuz i saw nothing sexual or gory in the demo, did they really make it so teens need permission to buy this just so that Frey can curse like waaaaaaaay too much in a hamfisted attempt to be edgy? I’ll play this down the road when it’s free/cheap, patched, and I’ll set the dialogue to Japanese with English subtitles. Will probably enjoy it then.
Nah. Probably just let it fizzle out and die at this point. The game was criminally mishandled, the show was a dumpster fire. Probably just let it sit a few years til people forget then try to kickstart it again. They don’t need Halo now anyway, they just bought half the gaming industry to the work is done for them now.

Agreed. Everything about this game screams 2016. The weird thing is that after the disasters that were Anthem and Avengers, that wasn’t enough for them to pivot, but at the 11th hour they get horrible response to their gameplay and NOW they’re gunna try to pivot when it’s too late? Stupid and out of touch, game will be DOA.
