Ray traced reflections are meh, but I feel like global illumination is more worth the sacrifice. But seems like usually it’s just reflections and maybe shadows.

Yes. This is always in the back of my mind. Microsoft is primarily a software company, Sony a hardware company. Early on, Microsoft wanted to buy Nintendo but when they didn’t go for it, they developed the Xbox. And all those people saying exclusives don’t matter, if you dial it all the way back, you don’t have Xbox without Halo Combat Evolved.
So sales charts, is that based on titles actually selling, or does it include all revenue spent in game? I feel like for GTAV to alway be near the top it has to be including shark cards and shit. Also, I wonder what the split is for Sea of Thieves, like what do Sony, Microsoft and Rare get respectively?

No, they haven’t. We asked for years for this game, and they always said they didn’t want to do it because it was too predictable. So which Batman is this? Is this a sequel? A prequel? They’ve treated the Arkhamverse with such blatant disrespect at this point I can’t be bothered to give a shit what they do with it. Plus, how many people have a Quest 3? Is there gunna be an Oculus or PSVR version?
I looooove Horizon but this looks entirely pointless to me. Not saying it shouldn’t exist, just that as a big Horizon fan I have no interest in it. I know it’s Lego but there’s so much just random stuff in it, and I don’t think the property really is well set up for lampooning, these aren’t massively well established characters that are ripe for a comedic send up. I think your average person would have major difficulty naming any other characters from the series besides Aloy.
I’m happy to see that it’s $59.99. Hopefully that just means they’re not assholes, and it doesn’t turn out to be like 8 hrs long. It looks amazing regardless.
Isn’t this the thousandth time they’ve done this? Structure things in an abusive way, people complain, they go “we’re listening” and dial it back to a still abusive level (probably the level that they originally wanted) then act like they deserve an award for responding to feedback.
