Gears2 sold just over 6m and uc2 sold just over 4 & a half, stop exaggerating. Mind you that's a vgcharts estimate, I suspect Gears2 sold alot more.

Well actually Halo was supposed to be an rts and was Bungie's version of Starcraft which in turn was Valve's version of 40k, Valve failed to get the 40k license so created their own.
Are you telling me that the Flood, Covenant and UNSC don't remind you of the Zerg, Protoss and Terrans respectively ? Also Gears is clearly inspired by 40k. Don't get me wrong though I love Halo, Starcraft, 40k and Gears ;)
Without Warhammer 40K you wouldn't have Starcraft or Halo, both of these were heavily inspired by 40K. Those who do their research would know this.

I would much prefer a 3rd person rpg like Mass Effect 2, loved SC2 still but I'm not really an rts fan just a fan of the universe.

Yeah but Mario Galaxy was so boring and not even in the same league as Mario64 so not a great comparison tbh. I got bored in about an hour and then gave away my wii, I can't speak for MG2 though which I hear is much better, I personally found Banjo and Kzooie N&B a far better attempt at a nextgen cartoony adventure game.

I think it's a given that the current xbox live (along with xbla/zune et al) will move onto a nextgen system albeit with an upgrade or 20, it would be total stupidity not too.

Don't they usually give you a discount if you have their last OS, ie if I own W7 (which I do and it's great) then would I get W8 at a discounted price? I 'm sure I heard of similar deals for vista/W7.

Loved the first one but really didn't like tf2, just hasn't moved on as much as other shooters. Put vehicles in it and I might check it out again.

No they said near cartoony and clearly it's less cartoony than Torchlight, open your eyes. Also love the sound of this game and the pedigree behind it so I have hope it will be one of the best xbla games this summer which is saying alot.
