Agreed, it's getting great reviews across the board. First Child of Eden and now this, Kinect is on a roll! Seriously though I might just get this game as I loved Kinect Sports.
Hmmm interesting, this is getting all good scores atm. May have to shell out for this one. Would of liked some actual combat though.
Well I for one thought Kinect Sports was quality but yeah I get what you mean ;)
Let's hope it playes twice as good too, tbh the last id game I enjoyed was Doom, yes that's right the original Doom. Everything since then has either been MP which I am indifferent towards or lacklustre SP like Doom 3. Saying that, Rage does look promising.
I really want a Kinect Super Monkey Ball, Sega make it happen!!
This guy is a fool, he mentions in his leak his brother works for Valve, doh!! That will narrow the search alot, looks like both of them will be getting fired.
Played it on my US profile, trust me it's horrible, combat has potential but the platforming of which there is alot is truly awful and the art style may be nice but technically the gfx are last gen.
First MMO since WOW that looks any cop tbh.
I hope Halo 4 is much more like ODST and Halo CE cos they were clearly the best games in regards to SP but as for MP Halo 3 was the most fun for me, Halo Reach felt incredibly stale and boring to me across the board really so I'm so glad Bungie have moved on. 343 don't let me down!!
Loving the first Kinect Sports and can't wait for this especially golf and tennis.
I hope Rare sue the hell out of them oh and Nuts and Bolts was awesome. Saying that I hope Rare do make a traditional 3d platformer sequel but you need to give N&B's another try cos you're missing a classic.
What I wouldn't do for an EA made rugby game.
I highly doubt it's Microsoft buying popcap but saying "considering how they paid so much for Rare and haven't seen any real significant returns" is a bit ignorant as Kinect Sports already sold way over 3m copies and in this consumers mind is a very good product to boot, table tennis being particularly brilliant.
But I think it would be a bad fit with Microsoft as they aren't multiplatform.
I do miss Japanese games of old from the 90's as of recent years they have become increasingly irrelevant to me. The last Japanese game I bought was res5 and I got bored (and frustrated) after about 20 minutes. Even Nintendo has slipped, can you honestly tell me that any of their releases have topped Ocarina or Mario64? Imo absolutely not and it's a massive shame.
Saying that child of eden looks interesting but I will be waiting for the price to half before I buy ...
Ah I see it now it's on the game marketplace not XBLA, shame I don't have gold so have to wait a week :(
On XBLA? really? Isn't this a full price release? I suspect the article meant XBL, I'm not being pedantic just curious.
Long-awaited by who? This looks like a pile of crap! I will give it a go before completely writing it off but seriously what the hell has happened to the quality of xbla releases this year? At least Trenched looks good but it's geared towards coop which I hate and it's delayed :(
I agree with the developer on this, I was very hyped for Bioshock for a long time and for the first few hours it lived up to my expectations but it quickly became very repetitive and linear with most of the gameplay being extremely tedious. I got bored with the game halfway through and never went back. Will be keeping a close eye on this first proper sequel though!
Probably a day one buy for me if the demo lives up to my expectations.
Where are all the Kinect haters now? Ah yes they tend to only comment on negative stories about Kinect. Well I for one am very happy with how this game turned out and I'm one very happy Kinect owner.
