Defeated Queelag first time tbh, much harder bosses to be had in the game like the Four Kings and even Sif the wolf boss was harder imo, mind you I'm a knight so I tanked Queelag without taking a scratch.
Awesome game though, on my second play through now.
I never played the first version and as I bought this on amazon for £11 I feel pretty great about my purchase.

Clearly Dark Souls is either a love it or hate it game, it's not a "I liked it quite a bit" kind of game at all, how very dull and safe a verdict on something this polarising and controversial.
You clearly didn't finish the game in which case you're not qualified to review it unless you state it's a first impressions which you didn't.

Agreed newmonday, Halo 1 deserved a 10/10 sure but Halo 3 did not, not by a long shot. Edge have given thirteen ten's in their entire history.

It's not because Skyward Sword isn't multiplat that it will struggle to get GOTY but because it's on that console that no one plays, what's it called.... oh yeah the wii!
Gave mine away years ago but as much as I love Zelda games I won't re-buy one just for one game (as most won't) and for that reason it will receive much less build up and buzz in the industry.
All of the bosses are a pain in the ass! Just killed Sif the wolf and wow what a bitch! (see what I did there!).
This game is everything the Fable series should have been, I really hope Peter Molyneux and co play it to see how it's done.
Nice article, you're wrong about grinding mind, you can totally grind, in fact there's an area dedicated to grinding for souls.
The game starts off brutal but it gets easier the further you go on (well it has for me) as long as you make the correct choices and use google if you get stuck. The community is very helpful in this game.
What a load of rubbish, they didn't ask all uk developers, just a tiny slice of what's out there and until they ask all developers we'll never know what percentage develop for whom. I suspect much more favor xbla either way.
Ok i've only played the demo but if that was any indication then this is tripe, the review score and the game. Maybe it massively and radically improves later on but I highly doubt that tbh.
It was a fun demo but I found the game a bit stressful tbh, mind you the only tower defence game I've ever enjoyed was gemcraft! Saying that, it wasn't the "tower defence" aspects that were stressful but the shooty/swordy parts, which felt unrefined and ineffective and well not fun.
Shame, because if they worked on those parts a bit longer this could of been a must buy.
Take this score with a pinch of salt, it's the official Nintendo mag which means Nintendo pays their wages...
Saying that, if I hadn't got rid of my wii years ago I would defo pick this game up.
