thats why actions speak louder than words...
about as much fun as your having acting like a douche
it means no matter what, you are gonna defend Too Human and your review of the game because you are blinded by your undying faith to the 360 and its games.
if you were so very confident in your review, you would pay no mind to people here and go about your business. but here you are, defending your review to all who will listen.
here is a fact: too human is not that good. you state a main component of a game, or your review, is fun factor. were you playing another g...
absolutely correct. if Too Human were a ps3 exclusive, i may believe the claims he stated. But it's not, and almost every multiplatform game using the unreal engine works better on the 360. he has absolutely no excuse why this game took 10 years to develop and end up like it did.
since Killzone 2 is being released behind Resistance 2 and Socom, it's obvious to me that Sony isn't as confindent with KZ2 as these other titles. Hopefully this won't be a repeat of Haze...
i'm really ashamed at being excited for this game. i feel like this is more of a flop than Lair. i mean, at least with Lair i bought it used and with the analog patch its a pretty good game...but this?
i first heard about Haze around march of 07, and since then it's been nothing but delays, hype, more delays and more hype. we were drip fed information from the official blog for over a year, and if i didn't know any better, i would say they barely worked on the game for all that t...
i really wish rockstar would have kept the jack thompson mission in gta4....he'd be sleepin with the fishes!
seriously though, i truly believe he deserves everything he gets from abusing his power as an attorney. from chasing ambulances to filing porn in summaries to slapping gamepolitics.com with a lawsuit to flaming and trolling thier forums; all the foxnews appearances and the blatant, boldface lying, jack thompson is truly the scourge of our society.
i'm getting this as well. i got gta4 for the 360 so now it's my ps3's turn for a game, and Haze fits the bill since i'm bored with Halo 3 (and i don't want to buy the map pack).
anyhow, i've played the demo of Haze on hard with 3 buddies on the psn and it's a blast, if you kill each other before you reach the helicopter you can keep replaying the last checkpoint over and over, it's pretty fun. the AI at that level WILL flank and kill you.
plus watching a buddy over...
again, out of the 4 reviews so far, the two with the lowest scores (6, 7.5) make absolutely no mention of multiplayer, weaponry, vehicles, etc...
again, i would not trust any review that doesn't even mention the above in a game that features such things. they must have watched a preview video and reviewed that...
in a game that features 4 person co-op play, i would question any review that doesn't even mention the multiplayer aspect of this game.
i'd rather listen to patcher once a month than listen to shane kim and all the other propaganda mongers from the 360 camp every single day...
@1.9 below: If you read that forum thread you can also see they used the photos/screen grabs posted and not raw footage to do that dithering test. So it was quickly dismissed. Don't grasp at straws, the PS3 version is better aren't you happy? It only took making it non-HD to do it. =)
"But I don't think its fair to compare screens off a lossy video to lossless shots off the framebuffer. Capture cards and the eventual re-encode would destroy fine dithering details like that.&...
pog, the bullshot you are referring to is for the ps3 version, not the 360 version, but nice try.
looks like you will have to switch accounts now if you wanna spread more FUD
here is a link to that forum post showing both versions blown up to 400% with the poster saying the 360 version is suffering from "terrible dithering"
http://forum.beyond3d.com/s...
read it and weep
if you would take the time to read thru the thread, you would see that the 630p claim is based on a screenshot from IGN that has not been verified to be the actual PS3 resolution.
if the 630p claim is accurate, posters in that thread who have more knowledge than me are saying the 360 version should have been downscaled as well so more post processing could be applied, because the ps3 version is obviously superior.
try reading your own link next time.
"The next explanation for this preference to GTA 4 on the 360 is simple mathematics. There have been 17.7 million more Xbox 360 units sold worldwide compared to the 9.5 million sold for Playstation 360. With over 8 million extra people owning an Xbox, it’s easy to see why the numbers are skewed in Microsoft’s favor."
i wonder if they wrote this article 4 months ago...
just like Home, i would rather Sony release what they have done so far than wait another year for a full version.
ps3 owners don't care as long as the price is fair, GT:P is way better than say Sega Rally and that game is $60.
i'm an admitted ps3 fanboy, with a launch 60gb and a 40gb. i've been waiting for home since 3/07, and this latest news doesn't make me happy.
next time i hope sony doesn't release any info because it just disappoints people when they don't come thru until 2 years later.
microsoft defense force > sony defense force
is this "analyst" forgetting about the ps2? why would sony cut the price on ps3 when they get pure profit from the ps2....the 360 will be competing with the ps2 this holiday season, while the ps3 will do just fine. next christmas the ps3 will be $299 for 160GB and the ps2 will not be around. i swear these analysts cannot see beyond tomorrow...
