@Lawboy2
You must have not been around last gen when hating on PS3 was the trend and was the "cool thing" to do. Sony took years to recover from the PS3 launch with execs telling gamer's to get a 2nd job to be able to afford it etc.
So funny you all are willing to forget how long Sony took to win gamer's back and fail to see its now Microsoft's turn in the hot seat since that controversial E3 launch of the One.
So before...
"This is impressive considering the hardware specs"
Impressive? Impressive is what you would call the Xbox 360 running this game at 1080p/60fps. I wouldn't call it impressive when a next gen system with a fairly modern customised APU architecture struggles to run a 2 year old PC game that can run on a mid level laptop and having to work with MS directly to aid in getting it to 1080p at the cost of performance.

@blitz0623:
That's what i have been saying. This is to counter negative PR and the view held by many that the Xbox One is an inferior console (performance wise) next to the PS4 that is incapable of hitting native 1080p.
@Pogmathoin:
mikeslemonade makes a valid point. Its common knowledge PS4 is hitting 1080p on games more often than Xbox One. Getting games to 1080p on Xbox One at a cost of framerate is nothing more than a move to counter ...
And therefor 10 million people saw better value in the system because of the points you stated
+
the fact MS with Xbox One tried to implement anti consumer policies made the decision all too easy.
Trolling? No. A quick google search will let you know what i stated was fact. I didn't pull anything from my rear. Spencer stated framerate is more important than resolution.
Yet Xbox division demanded Diablo be pushed to 1080p (with framerate drops).
Add to the fact that the tests involved here did not include later parts of the game where performance takes a hit even on PC. So how does Xbox One fair when the physics gets really demanding.
Maybe you have no life s...
They mashing the disagree button's furiously. So much salt.
I thought Phil Spencer said framerate is more important??
and what about letting the developers free to their artistic vision?
So many 180's and they keep comin'
@Jumper09
Sadly people will always equate a 10% boost in performance into a 40% pixel gain.
@WingWalker
You must not have read the digital foundry analysis of the Xbox One going from 900p to 1080p with Diablo 3. A drop in performance (sometimes to the low 50's in fps) resulted in the gain in resolution. Some may say its not noticeable but the point of the matter is the resolution gains dont come without a penalty. 10% boost is not free....
Yeah but Witcher 3 devs disclosed resolution on both platforms and that game is due out next year but they did state they will be working on optimizing the game more as it edges towards launch. Just found it weird the devs of this game are withholding the current resolution they at.
Weird they won't disclose the resolution. It's not like the game is due out next year.
Here's a thought Spencer. Why not use the huge money vault to build your own Uncharted instead of nabbing exclusivity rights to games.
Titanfall was a big catch for MS. Much bigger than Rise Of Tomb Raider in that Titanfall is a online shooter. I don't know from what planet you from but here on planet earth shooters (case in point Call of Duty) have sold a metric ton compared to other genre's of games. There is a long list of them that proves this genre is very successful, more so than others.
So if Titanfall exclusivity didn't save Xbox One. How is Rise of Tomb Raider supposed to? with an ever ...
@BG11579
I don't know why you getting disagrees. Spencer is trying to turn around the Xbox One image among the gamer's so he is "saying all the right things" and some are praising him like the 2nd coming of christ.
Spencer can do or say no wrong in the eyes of some gamers. Good work from MS. It seems to me people forget what a cocky MS is like when they were in the lead with Xbox 360 last gen, boasting about resolution differences, screamin...
There is no point in buying up exclusives all over the shop if you don't pursue ideas or developments of your own. MS will be a money pit as long as they keep up the exclusivity buy out tactic and that's why i agree with your assessment.
MS needs to up its 1st party output because it doesn't hold a candle to anything Sony offers in the 1st party stakes.
Though i do see this exclusivity buy outs by MS as a short term tactic to boost Xbox One sales...
Driveclub comparison incoming.
Painting all PC users with the same brush heh?
Your comment is as anal as they come.
Gameplay wise? So you have played it already huh?
Or you talking out your rear based on youtube videos?
I could care less about gameplay between the two titles. My comment is in regards to sales and fanbase.
This Bhatti character is known for deleting and banning users who post negative comments. And here i'm sat thinking this industry thrives on feedback from gamers. Its why MS has done the almight 180's and why Sony is currently in the lead. Feedback. Someth...

Yet another nail Fifa is driving into the PES coffin and all at the hands of Konami themselves.
That's great Bhatti. I will just pick up Fifa 15 on PC.
Well for a Pinball game how is ESRAM expected to be an issue.
