This is great news. Anyone doubting Cerny's claims of a revolution in gaming coming to PS just needs to sit down and read this. Sony is going full tilt with the games.
Rela82me: a quick google of how many games PS4 has in development for its first year would counter your argument very swiftly. Naughty Dog and Santa Monica have been enlarged into two teams each. So you suddenly discounting devs like Media Molecule, Quantic Dream, Polyphony Digital and other Sony frist party devs? Selective comprehension and all that.
Sony is pushing for games games games. That was the message today at gamescom with a slew of indie titles announced. How anyone can disregard their passion for focusing on what made this industry what it is today is beyond me. Their focus in Feb was games and their focus now at gamescom is games. Never seen then yell Tv Tv Tv anywhere since PS4 was mentioned. Games is why we are here people. Not taking away anything from MS but you cannot discount Sony's push for what gamers really want. ...

This is great. Will be a big deal in Europe and a great incentive for those who play it on the PC to get it for the Vita. All this Vita news is making me pray for a PS ultimate bundle including a PS4 and Vita. Would be killer and I'd definately get one

The PS EYE is NOT central to the PS4 experience. Sony has not in any way paraded the PS EYE as a must have device for your system like MS has for kinect. House is not lying. MS has done so many 180's since their reveal that the system you preordered at reveal is not the system you getting in the box come launch day. This is the kind of shitstorm Sony had to endure at the beginning of this generation. @JBSleek: $500 is a fixed amount for a console. You wont have to pay a monthly fee to keep your console active unlike the internet. Here in South Africa a good broadband connection (over 12 months) will set you back more than the price of a retail Xbox One.
