It goes both ways. It all depends which way a developer looks to develop a game concept. If said concept is for example a focus on realism or simulation then its imperative the graphics get centre stage (GT5, BF3, Ace Combat etc.). There's nothing more distracting than trying to nail good laptimes in a racing simulator than having it look like space invaders or pac man. Red Dead was an awesome game but for me it lacked a busy world. Town's were damn near empty, not many NPC's or other attractions. A busier game world will make a turn of the century setting that much more enjoyable. That said i have to agree with most of u guys that a modern LA setting would do just great. I just hope the world is filled with random crazy activities and side missions like San Andreas.

Why did i get disagrees when i stated that MW3 will get a 10. Most people should know COD is immune from 8's and 9's. EA and Dice made a mistake with the single player. U dont take on COD at their game. Most of us was crying out for something different to COD and what do we get? A giant hollywood set-piece. Regardless of the 8, my point stands that MW3 will get a 10 even if its more of the same sh!t from the past 3 iterations. Eurogamer is becoming a joke site.
