No but i do feel like the console landscape is about to get more crowded. If valve does well, I could see more companies joining in like apple and Samsung. If not apple, I could definitely see Samsung making a console. After all, they're TVs and smartphones are some of the hottest consumer electronics going.

Why don't u ask Nintendo and 3rd party devs that? Over 3 months since launch and no new games have come out. It's not our fault Nintendo released a new console and didn't have any games scheduled for its first year on the market. Who wants to buy a $350 console when the only games for it are launch games from last year and most were poor 3rd party ports??? Wow we got a HD version of a wii game with monster hunter 3, and a port of last year's Spider-Man game and need for speed....

Sony is making a huge mistake if true. A next gen gran turismo showcased on ps4 will help sell alot of consoles and they need that since its going to be brand new. Ps3 is almost done anyway now that ps4 is coming. Ps3 will continue on a while longer but everyone's minds will be on next gen as the months go on. I know mine already is :) I can't wait for ps4!
Sony hit it out of the park. But this E3 will be a grand slam of epic proportions. Console reveal, price, release date and a ton of new games!!!!

I think one of the big reasons we didn't see the console yet is because they're working to make it operate much better than the ps3 and 360 issues we had. Ps4 sounds like a beast inside and they're probably trying to figure out the best way to keep it running cool as possible so those powerful insides dont melt.
Apps apps and more apps. Oh and more apps.
And a heavy focus on kinect and kids.

If the wiiU didn't come with the gamepad and only used the pro controller, it would probably only cost around $199. The gamepad ups the charge when so far it doesn't add anything substantial to the games on offer right now. I should know, I've owned one since launch. And am currently regretting...

I read an article earlier that Microsoft has renewed the project gotham racing trademark. So it looks like we'll be seeing a new gen pgr soon. That was one of my fav games on Xbox. Hope the new dev in charge makes a quality product that lives up to the name.
