Here's the truth -
The PS4 and XB1 have different architecture.
Benchmarks and games designed for the PS4 will see results better on the PS4.
Benchmarks and games designed for the XB1 will see results better on the XB1.
The XB1 has more specialised hardware which means it has been difficult to code for.
Take a game like Forza horizon 2 and it runs amazing on xb1.
But the ps4 has zero ...

But it is definitely riding the "ultra powerful" wave at the moment.
Xb1 had early problems, but fact is, both machines are very close in terms of power.
Some new games are emerging better on the xb1 too.
Cod AW and AC Unity spring to mind.
GTA V shows the power of these consoles to be more than adequate with near parity on GTA V and competitive with PC versions...
Just my personal preference but i would find police chat and telephone chat annoying through the controller.
The red and blue lights would make me reach for the off button.
I much prefer the xb1 pad.
Something so simple as rumbles in triggers creates incredible immersion when you shoot guns.
