Without a doubt any genuine gamer would have at least four of the GT series in the Top 10.
I'm a fan of Forza and PGR but to list them and not list any of the Gran Turismo Series!? WTF! Is it me or does anyone else get the heavy stench of "PAYOLA"?

The real kick in the teeth for all these other game developers is that GT5 runs at 60fps at 1080p! Most of these other game developers (like EA for example) could barely get their games to run at 30fps at 720p. Really shows how lazy these PS3 ports are. All we hear from them is "how difficult the PS3 is to code for" (Boo Hoo you're breaking my heart) when the reason for the sloppy ports is that they just can't be bothered to pu...
I'm amazed that this 30% failure rate is still being bandied about! It has to be higher than that! Not one of my friends that has bought a xbox 360 in the last two years has had a fault free console. Even my own 360 (bought second hand) has started to make some very strange noises. How the hell can a console maker unknowingly produce such a noisy unreliable machine!
Game stop are doing an offer in Ireland, trade in your old 360 with 120 Euro and get a 360 Elite. I think I'll go...

I disagree. You would be very surprised at the number of parents these days that would consider this zero score for the Wii a discouraging factor prior to purchasing.
I have two daughters in school and they are very conscious about the environmental impact in purchasing goods. When doing the weekly grocery shopping I am constantly reminded about packaging and what brands factor in the environment when manufacturing or producing goods.

Personally I believe it is the latter. There has been an avalanche of viral stories like this since the PS3 launched.
quite a few on this thread are claiming that they have a "FRIEND" that has a 360'd PS3 though.
To all you xbox 360 owners I say, stop dissing the PS3 for the moment. Go and buy one, play it for a while, then come back here and post your comments on it. If you don't like it sell it on.

I have never had any problem with any of the sony playstations 1, 2 or 3 i've owned. Bought my ps2 december 2000 and it is still working perfectly to this day, though I've added a mod chip, 300 gb hard drive and a network adapter to it over time. If I get this much milage from my PS3 I'll be very happy. Sadly I never even got a year out of my 360 before it first started to scratch my games and in the end it just red ringed on me!

I've just seen one of the adverts that are being ran here in Ireland. They are still using the "This is Living" style adverts. Pity, the new ads being shown in the states are really super. It would make more sense to just run these over here to.
Showed this advert to a few of the lads in work. Every one of them was impressed. Three of them said that they had planned to buy one of the 40 gig PS3's in the next few weeks. The PS3 is going to be a big winner this Christmas here in Ireland for sure.
if i remember correctly you could play a music CD in wipeout 2097 by removing the game CD and inserting the music CD. i have a lot of music on my ps3. i hope they do give access to mp3's stored on the hd.
