Most tense/ satisfying MP game I’ve played in a while. One of the very few MP games that when you get killed you can think back and pinpoint the exact moment when you messed up and then try to improve on it. If someone says “well you can do that with all MP games” then you haven’t played Hunt. Love it.
Now that MGS and Splinter Cell are on the back burner I’d love to see a third person Perfect Dark.
Honestly one of the biggest reasons I still have my PS3 is for the resistance franchise and Heavenly Sword. I’d kill for another one but I’d be content with remaster as well.
I play a shit tone if action adventure games and NG2 remains one of my favourites. As soon as I’m done DMC5 again ima break this one out.
I get the comparisons to overwatch it terms of needing to have good team synergy and Having heroes. But after playing at E3, the tech alpha and the beta the big (Obvious) difference is that one is primarily a shooter while the other is a brawler. It has lock on, dodge, combos and specials. In fact its much closer to a character action game.
Yep totally agree. Beat 1 and 3 multiple times but 2 was just to bloated. I actually felt 3 had the best pacing. Haven’t gotten around to genesis yet though.
Ah I thought it was a full priced game. 39.99 ain’t bad.
Not a troll comment but I feel this type of game would benefit greatly from a game pass like service. I personally won’t pay full price for this but I’d dabble around with it if it came with a service.
I already stated that in my OPINION its disappointing. I feel that explaining why I enjoy E3 would be a waste of time as it should be obvious. But I’ll try. As a kid you could get gifts at any time of the year but Christmas was exciting. Not just because of gifts but the atmosphere, the spectacle, the hype leading up. No other event or online news has as much hype going in as E3. That’s why.

I bought the first on for the campaign and was more than surprised about how good the MP was. Disappointed it won’t make a return. And I don’t want to hear how “oh it doesn’t need MP shoehorned in” because the first one had it and that campaign was fantastic.
The amount of diversity between these studios is staggering. Not everything’s for everyone but I imagine you’d be hard pressed to not find something that interests you.
I can see why most people slept on Astral Chain but man Platinum knows how to make action games like no other. I only needed to see 5 seconds of the first trailer to know who was behind it.
I remember the sense of urgency being the scary part of RE4. The chainsaw guy in the first village hunting you down and breaking though barricaded door was unlike anything I’ve played up until that time. Plus I have a fear of sharks so that water part had me stressed out.
Oh I understand why you wouldn’t have an E3 conference in this day and age. First it costs a metric shit tone plus you gotta split the mindshare between all the other conferences. But I don’t buy all these people who claim to be glad that Sony isn’t having one because “it just makes sense”, or “Sony doesn’t need E3. I agree that they don’t need it but I think it’s total BS that the people don’t want them to attend. They’re just agreeing and going along with whatever Sony says. It’s crazy.
Eh MS also has a dedicated audio chip plus Xbox velocity architecture. There just not making as big of deal of it because they know they got this in The bag.
