You can't really compare the three lol. Unless your totally biased. Uncharted is at one end of the spectrum and The Order in on the other. Quantum Break is somewhere in the middle. Solely basing off reviews of course. Opinions are another thing.
It's getting increasingly difficult to not watch any videos on this. I just want it in my hands already.
A little off topic though. You see the hype in this thread? Not a single comment (besides mine) derailing what's important. The game. Can we extend that courtesy to the Nintendo/Xbox articles? Our medium will never be taken seriously with the immature vibes that stem from console wars. For example during the big Halo tournament the winning team was teabagging the ...
The hype for this games is definitely warranted.
Wow a demo. You don't see those very often anymore. Out of all the games I'm actually glad it's of this one. Mainly because I'm interested but the last two Team Ninja games I played were very disappointing.
Yea I know of allot of people who said Alan Wake was one of their favourite games of last gen and a few that hated it. Looking very similar.
Getting hard for people to downplay QB with such glowing reviews. I just hope that when Uncharted's inevitable good scores come in the Xbox community won't sink to some of these individuals levels and just congratulate it. Let the haters hate.
I have no doubt I would enjoy this game to some degree. But I refuse to buy it out of principle. The game has strayed way to far from its origins. It'd be like If Dark Souls 3 was easy to cater to casuals.
Third person action galore this year. Can't wait.
I'm getting déjà vu from these reviews. Alan Wake went down very similarly. Most people love it. Some people hate it. I myself am the former. Good timing to because QB and Gears beta will definitely tide me over till Uncharted.
Yea it's not like I want them to go away. It's just for a while the only games worth a damn were open world.
I'm not sure about you guys but the sudden burst of Open world games is wearing a little thin on me. I'm personally pumped that we get Quantum Break, Gears 4 and Uncharted 4 all in the same year. Games I don't have to invest a whole lot of time into to enjoy. And yes I enjoyed The Order for that exact reason.
Really? People fail to mention the fall of Xbox? If your a frequent to N4G it's on a daily basis lol.
I can't agree with people who only want a more powerful Nintendo console. I have the three current gen systems and I love the Wii U because it offers me something different from the other two. Of which you interact with almost identically.
The most encouraging thing about The Coalition is that they have an open relationship with Epic. It's nice to see the respect they have for the Gears founders.
I'll have to agree with Pachter on this one. From what I understand games like SotC are beloved games but haven't really broken through to the casual market. And I can only assume the people who are excited for it already purchased a PS4. Hopefully I'm wrong and if it's great sells well but the hype comes from a gaming vocal minority who are already in the know. But the that's just what they are. A minority
I've seen allot of people saying the reviews are "so divisive" but going off metacritic the good reviews clearly outweigh the negative. So saying "SO divisive" seems a bit dramatic.
I've only read a few reviews and haven't noticed any real complaints out of this. Was this an issue in others?
I personally have no interest in being part of a static community unable to try new things. I say let them try and see what sticks and if we don't like what they've proposed then vote with you're wallet. If we cling only to what we know MS would have never sold a 150$ controller and Sony wouldn't be making a VR headset. And from what I'm seeing they're both going to be successful.
Well QB has mostly good reviews with a few stinkers thrown in. The Order was sort of the opposite.
I say make a new bad ass Viking warrior and make Kratos the enemy.
