Yea dude, football is huge in Europe ergo Fifa sells by the boatloads. Still, and this purely my opinion, Gears the the better game. Unlike Fifa, Gears isn't just another yearly iteration in with slight roster changes, lol.
Hmmm, well it also comes down to preference imo. Art style is a big factor if you ask me, it's not just all about the tech behind it.
Youtube HEAVILY degrades the quality. Trust me man, BF3 on PC looks simply astounding.
Devs often come out saying MS has some really horrible policies and that SONY is far more open and welcoming. I don't how SONY's statements are laughable if there's actually devs that have said that (id, valve, Quantic, etc). Not to mention, many indie devs have also praised SONY. I'm just sayin.
Guys, at least pay 5 bucks for it, don't be like some people who just pay like a cent, that's just low. Support the cause!
Tablets are meant for simple gaming, physical buttons are needed for any serious game. The Vita will be just fine as long as SONY markets it right.
Did you forget about a tiny game called GT? It may not be huge in NA, but WW it's a big, big system seller.
Now, the problem with SONY is that, they've always had too many games (and that's great), which means there's always been something for everything. Therefore, people pick and choose what they want. On the Xbox side, it's just one or two games a year (I'm talking exclusives) which means MS can funnel all their money into marketing the hell out of ...
After creating the most awarded game in history, a game often hailed as on the, if not the, greatest game ever made, expectations are high as can be..... no pressure :).
I miss Ensemble and even though they're no close, I also see Rare as a walking corpse. They aren't what they used to be. Hell, even lionhead is now reduced to making on rails FPS games (Yes, it's practically an FPS even it's magic related). I would love a Kameo 2, or a new Banjo (a REAL Banjo) game.
As will I. I'm tired of buying an incomplete game and then having to pony up the cash for DLC after DLC.
They should! Heavy Rain was great and I'm glad PS3 owner responded absolutely positively. HR wouldn't have sold near as many copies were it on any other platform.
I agree with spitfire, probably americans stationed or living in Japan as well as a few Japanese gamers that actually play on a 360 (secretly of course, lol).
Well, about the multiplats man, it's expected, the 360 leads in NA by 10 million+ so if the PS3 version of a multiplat was outselling the 360 version then it'd either be a huge anomaly or a JRPG.
Personally, Gears 3 far outdid what I expected it to in just about every area, the story was great, there's so much content packed into it (hours and hours), graphics are top notch, and, of course, sales beyond my expectations. Great job EPIC, you guys deserve it.
Sony should totally buy them up, it'd be great. Besides, Cage's games would never sell as good on the 360, their just no crowd for it (or at least a very, very small crowd). And being a first party studio would give them all the advantages that come with having access to tech and help from 20 other studios.
I really, really hate Kotaku. They just seem so unprofessional, no they don't seem like it, they ARE incredibly unprofessional.
As long as it stays free, it's all good.
I don't know man, the thing is, MS is really focused on Kinect right now and they don't seem to care about anything else. It's not like when they got FFXIII to go multiplat, back then they were trying to do everything the could to slow down SONY, right now, MS has completely changed their identity. They got FFXIII because they wanted to penetrate the Japanese market, but that's no longer their goal as it's clear that the Japanese don't want them. It's all about Kin...
1 Reason it probably won't: Nomura. The guy has always been stubborn about keeping it on PS3, and I'm pretty SE wouldn't want to anger him. Besides, SE has pissed off their audience (especially the Japanese crowd) enough as is, even though they may get 1 million units from the 360 version, it wouldn't make sense. They'd just piss everyone off and probably loose out on sales that people will boycott.
Yea, I really don't think Leona Lewis was a good choice at all.
