Haha, I feel the same way. It's something about the smile, the look in his eyes...
Shh...
I concur. My mom gave me a speech once when I was little that the things in these games aren't real, etc. And I was like, okay.
That was it.
It doesn't take much, but the fact that some don't even make the effort is astounding.
We all "knew" this but DICE officially stated it. That was the point of the article.
This is simply ridiculous. FoxNews needs to stay away from gaming.
The thing is though, it's relative to the series in question.
Battlefield started as a PC game and IS a PC game. There is no other way to experience it.
It's good news to hear, except maybe for those who are console players.
24 vs 64 is a huge difference, although the smaller number has its fair share of advantages. But with maps and environments as big as what we're being told, 24 seems like a kick in the groin.
I agree. But sadly the actual gameplay time, excluding cutscenes, is around 6 hours. That makes me sad, but good things come in small packages I guess...
I agree completely. Personally, I believe that MGS4 was too westernized so that they could assure bigger sales in the West since it was the final game in the series.
Regardless of what platform your flag flies, the Metal Gear series as a whole is absolutely excellent. No fanboy can deny that, besides the ones that like to call MGS4 a movie.
On-topic, a great opinion article.
This is in the article...
DICE learned after BC1 that a story mode can be done, even *gasp* DIFFERENTLY!
After BC2 they learned they can't just half-ass it.
So, BF3 will be a culmination of all things glorious... I hope.
The city in the cover looks futuristic... makes you wonder.
And I also worried about the inclusion of New York... but Americans need to get over the past, it'll be a decade once BF3 is out.
BF3 is most certainly already looking to be my favorite multiplayer title yet. I haven't played a multiplayer game for extended periods of time since Battlefield 2, so this should further enhance the year that is 2011!
This is definitely one of the greatest titles ever released.
Ever.
No other game can hope to come out in the wake of Duty Calls.
It's Sony's answer to the lack of L2 and R2 buttons. Just rub the back... Peter Molyneux would have too much fun with the NGP.
The fundamental difference between the two systems is that the 3DS is mostly an upgrade, whereas the NGP/PSP2 is a whole new generation of handhelds, although they are being viewed as competitors.
As a result the 3DS will have the rehashes and crappy 3D games, while the NGP will have the good ones.
It's just ridiculous the mindset developers have now. I don't know what's worse: locking content onto the disc to charge for later, or releasing a broken game and fixing it later.
While that does sound awesome, king, that would cause more fan rifts and fanboy arguments than you might think.
The spooky part... LucasArts hasn't acknowledged the game since the split between them and Pandemic.
It COULD have potential... although Call of Duty is becoming the scourge of gaming, sort of like what Facebook is to the internet.
