God?
I guess, he would simply place a big LOL on the start-up screen. :)
"Not surprised. All you have to do is look at the comments here. The rabid sony fanboys are definitely the worse of the bunch. I get threatened all the time."
"Exactly.
This is just a slap across all the faces of sony fanboys that used to always praise that."
"Delays usually equals to problems. Doesn't look good for KZ2."
"But.....but.......the power of the cell?"
...
Trac...
Agreed. However, I would strike 'corrupt fanboy', because fanboy is
misused here. There is nothing like a 'corrupt fanboy', there are only
'corrupt peoples' = assholes. The given article itself tries to increase
the "tension" by associating the term fanboy with a bad behavior
(threating people, etc.). *applause*
Well, this proofs something interesting;
Fanboyism, Games, Scores, etc. are nothing special in our world and
play no exception to the rule. One can safely replace fanboys with
the variable X. Why should a fanboy be so different to anyone else?
\strikethrough{Fanboyism} Humanity reaches new lows.
Well, I've read the article ... hmmmm ... what should I
say ... yet another Ph.D.? lol
Yeah, the Cell/B.E. processor/architecture was built with security in mind,
straight from the metal, to support not only games but also a lot of other
applications (finance, transcoding, ...).
The security of the Cell/B.E. reads as follows;
"..., the Cell BE security architecture offers three core features. By using
the hardware Secure Processing Vault feature, an application can execute
isolated from the rest of the software environment....
R.I.P. Fun? Definitely not.
"None of this is getting us anywhere"
It really don't have to take us anywhere. All the consoles tech and games
debates are simply a heated restatement of our society in doing progress
on technology. No progress on technology, no debates.
It's also a documentation of how technology influences the public. Two
hundred years from now all the debates will give a good overview of what
was the sp...
I rike it!
Yes!!!!! I rike it!
First off. They said;
"Belgian researchers have assembled a relatively simple enthusiast PC
with an emphasis on graphics processing capability, which beats a
multi-million dollar supercomputer in its target application."
http://www.tomshardware.com...
"... in its target application." This is wrong.
If it were true, then they (the gu...
Calm down, I was just joking. You know the meaning of lol, right?
;)
True.
Not being able to support the PC to its fullest, with respect to gaming, is a
major problem on that platform. The real strength of a PC lies within its
flexibility/modularity, but this strength is also its biggest weaknesses.
Today, the PC lacks structure and becomes rather inefficient in comparison
to dedicated consoles in terms of money spent, in ease of use, in adoption
as entertainment system; and technically; in Performance / $ / Wa...
What you wrote is perhaps also the reason why we are joking a bit over here.
Valve doesn't support the consoles as they could, rather the opposite is the
case; badly supporting consoles to gain more weight on PC. Gabe was talking
about this all the way long in a rather offending way.
I think, despite all the jokes given here, Valve got the respect for what they have
done in the past. No question about that! Gabe deserves a special edition
of W...
wow ... nice finding!
Ohhh... topic has changed somewhat ... it was 'GRID - Crash Montage' + x before ... and I was referring to
http://www.gametrailers.com... .
However, its off-topic by now.
Tell me, where is the difference in this picture?
"And this compares to what?"
I will give PC gaming a new try at the time the next-gen console
came out. Around 2012/13 there could be a stable (DRM, etc.)
PC online distribution system installed and Intel, Nvidia, and M$
could have managed some of their issues with "PC gaming".
There is something called 'PC Gaming Alliance' consisting of AMD,
Dell/Alienware, Epic Games, Intel, M$, Nvidia, and Razor. They want
untooned ... lol
I can now imagine what happens when GT5P gets its damage model; high quality deformations that can be used by car manufactures, too! ;) Oh god!
Nice comments to come.... D'oh!
(and this is the first one)
