Let me ask you, who think the Kinect will be FULLY turned off, this...
If you're playing a game without the Kinect RIGHT NOW... does the Kinect take up resources? Yes. That OS is still running.
If you're playing a game with the Kinect, HOWEVER, "NOW," it is not mandatory (wasn't earlier), does the Kinect take up resources? YES. Yes, yes, YES! do you really think they will turn 100% of the processes off? That would literally kill anyone ...
Rippn, well said... the extremists of each side always cry the loudest (squeaky wheel gets oiled). I always get annoyed with people who say, "Sony ponies said this" and, "xbots said that."
No, usually the person making the "Sony pony"/"xbot" attack Makes everyone into his/her enemies and screws up REAL conversation.
Yes, I admit I did this when I first joined n4g, but I figured it out faster than mika, truefan, sasuke, ...
When you put your dvd of movie-X in your player that streams Netflix, do you expect it to stream the movie for you without a Netflix subscription?
Just seems like a double standard.
In an all digital future, as long as I can't outright BUY the game for use ONLY on psnow, then i perceive this as a service, unlike other ideas all digital future where I'd lose data if the platform died.
K3rn3ll, ms talked about the cloud processing and "streaming" with that. The way I've understood it is that they were talking about the cloud doing certain functions for x1 like the Ray racing and their recent demo...
So, yes, ms mentioned streaming, but only certain functions in a game.
Sony mentioned psnow and full games being streamed first, hence psnow launching in the summer. We could have assumed this when Sony acquired gaikai.
I'm loving psnow as I'm fortunate enough to be in it. can't wait for them to talk more about it at e3.
If the pricing is right for the monthly subscription, it'll be that much more great.
I really can't see them screwing this awesome service up.
Edit: not to mention they want to bring it to ps3, ps4, vita, and bravia tvs now, then tablets and other devices later.
From a fanboy perspective... They were going to buy the console day one, regardless. I was working at gamestop when both consoles were made available to pre-order during the e3 announcements. Even with the drm and other policies that most hated, the x1 pre-orders hit their allotment within the hour.
So yes, while the choice will help people like me who did wait for this, the fanboys who wanted the system chose not to wait.
I don't think ms listened, I thi...
Ultimatemaster, is this what you're looking for?

They always forget. Ms only does dude-bro games well. Diversity is Sony's speciality.
What is the easiest way to cut costs and rebalance, while giving investors more faith? Laying people off. Businesses need laborers, but don't want to pay them.
Iwata refuses to lay people off, and that makes him a bum? No, it shows that Nintendo will survive this, because quality has always been Nintendo, and Nintendo isn't cutting their people out as an easy way to appease investors.

If ms made a handheld, it might actually help the handheld industry bring AAA games to the handheld market.
Big xbox fanboys would most likely buy one, and then when a third party developer creates a big game for one, they would probably not go exclusive (as a third party). Which results in more sales for the developer because of Nintendo, Sony, and ms having their own install base.
I'm just saying, xbox handheld would increase the amount of handheld inst...
Whereas, yes, I was disappointed in the content of the site, I'm not sure the title lied to us to be perceived as click bait. URNightmare was right.
However. I do think the title could have been phrased better, and the article could have had more substance.
So, yes, I would recommend NOT clicking through.
Difference is that tlou mp takes teamwork and communication more than most games.
Dang, I wish it was June 10th, I have plans for 9th
Pappy, if you think a company like ms, Sony, etc doesn't want his, hers, none or your money, then maybe that's why people respond the way they do to you... :/
Market share means a lot to investors/share holders, and that means getting OUR money.
This generation has been interesting. Both x1 and ps4 came with different features at launch that were missing from 360/ps3 whereas ps3 and 360 pretty much came with all if the features of ps2 and xbox:ori...
Yes, I get that there are more features in general at the start this generation last, I just find it interesting observation.
I'm probably the only one who finds this generation intriguing, both from fan and hater points to company strategies...
If I gave a game a 4/10 or below (1.5/3 is a 3/10) it would be because you can tell the studio ONLY wanted to profit, and literally didn't try, just DIDN'T TRY to make even a mediocre game...
Yeah, you can tell when a studio is passionate about their game vs being told what to do vs thinking they are just going to take in money no matter what they do.
I have yet to see spiders as doing either of the later two points in this.
The next review (or first I saw as n4g puts newest posts first) lists this as a 9.
Rpgs, especially low budget rpgs, tend to have more problems than big budget rpgs.
I want to see what bound by flame averages, though. I will say I'm less inclined to take a review with "l33t sp34k" in it's brand as serious, sorry.
Whybag, I'd live a collection. Include 1, 2, and 3 remade and sold...
I'm scared of annual, though...
M-M-M-MONSTER KILL!!!
Please do this justice, I played ut99 for well over a decade.
Volkama, "Playstation Plus and Games with Gold offerings are a brilliant deal right?
People are very willing to give up their consumer rights if they think they see good value. "
Uh, yes? Isn't that why you BUY something? Value? Perception of value at least?
I agree with the point you made about being similar, however, I disagree, and fully think that you should be ashamed that you want to put more than a subscription a digital...
