Yes no one said they aren't working on pirating it and I am sure they will in the future (probably have to set up small private servers like WoW- which will give worse performance than Blizzards servers).

LOL what are you talking about there is no crack for this game. Anything on piratebay is the files but noway to get them started. So don't get so upset.
Agree completely, its a more refined game than the previos one (except that stupid online rubbish). If people played the first diablo they would see what a shift diablo 2 did from that. Diablo 3 seems to reference the first diablo quite a lot as well. Nostalgia is definately playing a part in peoples perceptions.
Everyone I have met has really enjoyed it, all seem to have a lot of fun and are finding it even better on the harder difficulties.
Actually the starter pack only goes up to one third of act one still over four hours more of act 1 to go. And only at the end of act one does it start to get really good. The end of act three is amazing and act four is incredible.
OT: technically everyone is an honest player as this hasn't been cracked.

Actually it wasnt 11 years straight as all games that take a long time, it had many forms, was started from scratch years into development and many revisions were made including art style etc...

Exactly, when the hype has died down after a new game launches it's the modding community who can get your game the kickstart it needs. Mods help in the long term of a games life. This game went from down the charts on steam too now the 3rd game (was number 1 a couple of days ago) and is only being beaten by the new ghost recon and bundle pack.

That sounds exactly like dayz. except you can get a lot of strangers and you don't know who too trust because everyones out to survive, makes it quite nerve racking when you meet someone new.
Still on act 1? have you played hardcore?
only 20-30% of items are unlocked on normal the other 70% unlock on hardcore mode.
