Did you actually think that the game would not be a 5v5 exact replica, with extra features?
Sure, it's nice with a confirmation, but come on - everyone knew it!
It isn't exacly Minecraft, it's a Gameboy Mario meets 1980's Minecraft.
Every new "hyped" game reaches that spot. Portal had over 45k current players the day after release, now it's at 7k.
Minecraft BETA is available to everyone who purchases the game. BETA is not a limited access version of the game. Previously, sure - but now, it's a test and showoff.
Why don't you wait untill the BETA to come with your "desperately needed improvements".
Please, seriously. Shut your fat mouth untill you've played the BETA.
Yes, it's a PC Exclusive, Crysis was a PC excluse - Crysis 2 is the worst FPS in history. The new titles from this developer will be crap if they start working with consoles, we all know it. Im hesitating to buy Witcher to now, after they might make console titles, as everyone knows console titles ruin a PC exclusive who previously got GOTY awards!
Sorry, but I haven't seen one one multiplatform game which leading platform was Xbox/PS3 being worth paying the full amount for thus far. Latest wreck: Crysis 2 which is around the worst FPS in this decade.
Don't make anymore C&C games. Generals was decent, rest has been utter shit and not worth more than $1. It's a dead end, leave it alone and focus on a new IP.
BF:BC2 had dedis aswell, MW2 didn't. Yet MW2 sold more copies than BF:BC2. You see, MW2 isn't a bad game, they just totally neglected their PC fanbase all the features needed.
How is it's value higher than MW2's or Black Ops?
Crysis 2 is a crap game and the map layout is worse than any other Multiplayer game in this decade.
And thus, we can all discard this developer from our future purchase list.
Because you buy it anyways. Console "gamers" continously just run along with everything developers throws at them. You don't care it seems. While you say you will just get BF3, you will also get MW3. Just admit that you suck them dry.
I never traded a game in. What "most consumers" are you talking about? I don't know one person who ever traded a game in.
Don't be a shady bitch and stay clean with your customers, put out a demo so people can test your product, just like with a car purchase or any other product for that matter and you will see a decline in piracy. Pre-owned might be worse for the developers, but for retail stores it's sort of a living with the digital distribution future we are headed towards.
I honestly don't think you will ever defeat piracy, so you might aswell figure out a way to make cash even ...
It don't believe PS3 & Xbox ever touched high-end PC's simply because of the casing & cooling that would be needed. The new ones might close up, but again - only to High-end laptops. There simply aren't room enough in a console of todays size to fit in components of high-end PC hardware.
Valve can click one button and your game is not playable on your account. I would say it's easier to return a digital distributed game than a retail purchase.
On other note: I had a months payment of Aion returned as I had no spare time to play and I forgot to cancel my subscription. I asked nicely and it was refunded the next day.
Digital distribution just completely dominates the market and will continue to do so.
Even when PS4/Xbox720 comes out, PC will be years ahead. Get used to continously playing mediocre visual games with little innovation, if you aren't used to it already.
Battlefield 3 is looking out to be a beast, console players should feel lucky to even get the game, seeing as how much they must alter the version afterwards to fit the game into console technology.
This just totally renews the feeling of CoD for me. I am totally purchasing this game and I will also buy MW2 again which I burned once I found out there was no dedicated servers.
FUCKING POSTERS; YES!!!!!
More discs are the least of worries for a publisher. Openly telling, that a game sucks balls because they compressed it due to lack of modern technology on their lead platform, just shows what a patethic situation console "gaming" has become.
If it isn't ancient technology, it's worldwide platform breakdown and identity theft.
Why would you put in mental illness as a option? I don't understand why they want to make being homosexual acceptable.
